i have it all working but i want it to fit fully on my laptop screen can anyone help.
alfredoyattes click on remote management then click computer settings then click on vnc users and type password in doing all of this on the computer u want to control
Ok, so i went to the apple store the other day. And i was on a Mac. Checking my facebook, youtube, etc... And while i was moving my mouse, it was moving on its own. Then "this person who was controlling the mac" they opened up Notepad, And said " I see you, yes you with the gray shirt." How are they controlling it?
I jst want 2 let u know that u do NOT need to install the Chicken of the VNC crap, jst allow Remote Management on System Preferences>Sharing, choose accounts etc AND then tick the box that says"VNC Viewers can control ...with a password", if u want password protection. That's it!
open a finder window on the other mac and go to the mac u jst configured and logon, done!
You are right, but I use a VNC software because it gives you more options over how to control the computer. I personally use Remote Desktop, but most don't want to spend the money for it.
First off you need to understand it is not hacking and the target computer must be on a wifi. As far as I know this works with Windows. You need to find the IP Address to make this work.
Make sure that your brothers computer isn't asleep. Are you running Leopard? If not it might have something to do with that. Also make sure that he is logged in before trying to control his computer. I hope that helps, if it doesn't send me a detailed message. Thanks for commenting!
Sort of. Nothing pops up saying "Someone is remotely controlling your Mac" They can figure out if their cursor is moving or something, otherwise they will never know! Comment rate subscribe! Thanks
No, I am still working on that. I will let you know soon. Thanks for Commenting, rate and subscribe!!! BTW Did you want to know how to control a Mac from a PC or a PC from a Mac???
In 1996, Michael Spindler was replaced by Gil Amelio as CEO. Gil Amelio made many changes at Apple, including massive layoffs. After multiple failed attempts to improve Mac OS, first with the Taligent project, then later with Copland and Gershwin, Amelio chose to purchase NeXT and its NeXTSTEP operating system, bringing Steve Jobs back to Apple as an advisor
The years before Jobs came back: "During this time Apple experimented with a number of other failed consumer targeted products including digital cameras, portable CD audio players, speakers, video consoles, and TV appliances. Enormous resources were also invested in the problem-plagued Newton division based on John Sculley's unrealistic market forecasts. Ultimately, all of this proved be too-little-too-late for Apple as their market share and stock prices continued to slide.
Except those who know that Jobs paid a large some of money to fix his Pancreatic Cancer, and now suffers a hormonal imbalance. You keep saying the same thing over and over, what's wrong running out of facts.
Right, showing Jobs has accomplished more than just Apple.
He founded NeXT, Co-founded Pixar and Apple. Apple also makes video and picture editing software, which takes more of the market than Adobe and Corel.
Jobs has a Hormone imbalance from when he had cancer. He is also vegan, a reason why he is skinny. In 1996 COO Dan Cook wasn't there, he is just as genius as Jobs. That was 1996. New technologies are out, Apple learns from their mistakes. Microsoft doesn't seem to get that.
I know, it makes me sad that the low-tech Windows Users of the World still havent realized that Apple created the first Desktop Computer, Mouse and GUI operating software, well before Bill Gates was even 13.
Apple: Around $80/Share, CEO (Not Sick or dying) Smart, all products are successful, before stock market tanked around $180-$200/share. Good Customer service. A few years to make Mac OS X Leopard, it's great. Mac better graphics capabilities
Microsoft: Around $20/Share, CEO is a DUMB-FOOL, before stock market tanked still around $20-$28/share. Don't even get mme going on customer service. Most products are not successful and honestly suck. 7 Years to make Vista and it is screwed up.
Does another persons computer have to have chicken of the VNC downloaded for you to connect to it?

Finder > Go to network > "Name of computer" > Share Screen
This shares the screen using the Screen Sharing App in CoreUtils.

Hey guys, try this, cool trick:
enable screen sharing on both macs, and log from both to each other, guess wht u will see??
That's right! a "mirroring" effect, like when u put two mirrors facing each other..
Kim123miK 2 years ago
That sounds interesting. I will have to try that. Thanks.
crackercrumbs 2 years ago
Oh no!! Black hole of the VNC!! You can also do that with "localhost" as the host machine in most VNC clients.
LordHawke13 1 year ago
And BTW, much smoother...
However, sound is NOT transmitted, BUT, anyhow u can access files with the File Sharing enabled from Sys. Pref's.

cool folders and dock!
Bobberfrank08 2 years ago
Thanks, they are a custom design, but the dock is something anyone can get. Open terminal and type this:
defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES; killall Dock
That will reset the dock as the one I have.
To change this, change the YES to a NO.
I also make custom docks that I create in photoshop and change the dock settings using the Dock Library application.

Anyway, I have to go, I don't think I should comment more on a company like Apple that will be gone in 10 years once Jobs does this year.

Jobs dies -> Apple shares worthless, like in 1996 just before Jobs came back to Apple.
Microsoft: 90% market share, 17 billion net income, CEO owns 58 billion and that all because of their crappy service, crappy products...
*** owned again ****

When Jobs dies, this is what you get:
In 1996, Michael Spindler was replaced by Gil Amelio as CEO. Gil Amelio made many changes at Apple, including massive layoffs. (Jobs=Apple=Jobs. Apple will be found guilty for lying to the stockholders about Jobs health)

Showing Jobs is the brains behind Apple, if Jobs died, Wozniak could come back, or COO Dan Cook would take over.
