Ghaddafi is really smart and cunning. He is a proud nationalist and the U.S./West can't stand that and want to get rid of him so they can put a puppet in.

But JD, how does this stop the U.S./U.N. from coming in to rape the country? Let's get real here, Ghaddafi has been the ruler for 40 years. He is basically a king already. There is only a small group of rebels against Ghaddafi (which does still happen in a society). The U.S./U.N. want the oil. I read an article that stated that Ghaddafi started demanding payments for oil in GOLD. That ought to make you wonder what's really in fort knox. :-/
