2:43! Salvation isn't reformation, but returning. We don't earn it by changing, but can't we be changed? This is Torah. Requirement becomes promise: "Thou shalt not" means "You will not." "Go and sin no more." Not alone, but with Him. Hope of transformation, abundant life by patience and persistence of vision of the true image. Don't lose it because of stumbling, don't look back. Taking errors into account, inserting them into the equation or making provision for them is folly. Hallelujah.

@Christopher7789 Be careful! The devil also believe. Why is it so hard to follow the salvation plan of the book of Acts? Acts 2:4, 2:38. This is the way the Jews, Gentiles and Samaritan were saved. U have to fall in to one of these groups. Being baptized is not a work, it's obeying what Jesus said in mark 16:16. Notice he didn't just say to believe, but also be baptized and u shall be saved. Why are people trying to take away from the word?

I agree with Mr. Steve Anderson on salvation, and many other topics, but he is wrong about the pre-trib rapture. I encourage all to look into this for themselves.

For one, you must resist the mark of the beast during the great tribulation period. This is a a form of works. Faith alone will not save you during the great tribulation. If I preach "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.." while the antichrist is handing out the mark, I would be preaching an accursed gospel.

I was really happy to hear a Baptist teach the TRUTH about the doctrine of devils (the pre-trib rapture) Joy was short lived however when you went from the frying pan into the fire. The pretrib rapture is only number 2 on Satan's list of lies. His number one deception is that after someone is saved he can return to his life of sin. Thats just it we don't know. That is why its called walk with God. We will mess up and God will pick us up again. Its not about what you say but about what you DO in life. You can't know where you will go when you die that is why you just in the end have to trust in the Lord. The bible talks about not the words you say but the actions and heart you have being the most important.

First of all believing in God doesn't get you saved.

Second of all I don't know if that man is saved.

We tend to always look at the outward blatant sins that are grievous toward God yes, but Jesus said you only need to hate someone to commit murder and lust after someone to commit adultery.

You don't know the Bible. Stop twisting Scripture. It's believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved! The key word to James 2:24 is "how."

The answer for how a man is justified by works is found in Romans 4:1-2 "What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? 2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God" You see, a person is justified before man by their works, because man cannot see the heart.

Notice James writes "shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works." The key word here is "me." No man can see your faith, so with your works you are justified before man. James is talking about showing your faith before man.

The best way is to just agree with the what the Bible says. If you are 99% for what this preacher is saying, read the Bible about the other 1% before you disregard what he is saying. Nevertheless, I'd rather listen to a preacher who is right on salvation and wrong on music standards over one that is old-fashioned but has the gospel all wrong any day of the week.
