can u please email me back and let me know i need some help i want to make it a six cell xmod but i dont know if im doing it right my dad has soterder 2 wires 1 positive 1 negetive directly to the motor but it goes by its self? what or were do i wire it at?
Not very - the extra cell holders came from two gen1 cars that I had put liths into, all the stock wiring was re-used so it was just a case of buying decent batteries which I think cost me $20.
The dyno is a Tamiya 4WD Model Dyno purchased on eBay.
You would add more batteries to an F-150 in the same way you would add them to any car or truck, just google xmod 6 cell update and you should find a tutorial on how to do it.
Thank you to nitemeer and Neosferaku for pointing that out! I was really getting bored of having a stupid flame war with xmodskidd hopefully he will leave my vids alone now!!
no a reg stg 1 motor is 27000 8 cell is taking it up to about 55 60 thousand rpms doubled ok here is the easy math to calculate it stock motor 27000 on 4 batts x 2 = 54000 rpm's so yeah dude its fine but the fets aint gonna hold it as long as u run hard it will break dont run hard and wont break as easy see i was stupid to blow a mustang up with 4 cell liths stock board mins befor so it will take a beatin first hope this helps ohh the 1 dude sorry i forgot my freind had
My XMODS is at 12 volts 8 cells. The motor is stage 1. How much rpm do you think it's at? I don't think it's too dangerous. Just overvolt 3volts. The stock is @ 26000 rpm. So since I have 12 volts running through it, should I get around 30000 rpm?
Dude listen to what I am saying! The batteries I am using say 1.2 volts on them! They are different to what you have! You are only correct for you setup! For my setup you are talking out of your arse so just drop it and find someone elses video to bitch about!
actually ur wrong. techically, only alkaline batteries get 1.5 volts, but he has rs rechargeables which, as he says are 1.2 volts. the rest is in his comment. i think ur the dumbest person who ever landed on the xmods world...
btw, having anything over a 6 cell just adds weight.

Ok so I wasn't quite right but you are just as bad!
Stock RS rechargeable batteries run 1.2 volts 1.2 * 8 = 9.6 volts
Also according to the owners manual you are not supposed to exceed ~7.5volts on the stock Electronics Package!
However 8.4 volts is the absolute limit you can get away with putting through the car but it is dangerous!
Running an 8 cell setup put me 1.2 volts over the max limit!
So how about you go do some research before you call someone a dumbass you dumbass!!

learn to count xmod boards hold 9.0 not 8.2v know any way1.5 times 8=13.5 volts dumbass
