  • Someone turned gamesliders up

  • without 3 point line at that time this guy feels like cheating or something

  • Mj is better ;)

  • Mj is better ;)

  • Final score of this game: Philadelphia Warriors 169, New York Knicks 147, the highest scoring game in NBA history at the time. Three Knicks players scored over 30 points in that game and the Warriors still managed to have four other players score in double figures. WIlt also set the record for most free throws made in a game.

  • Wilt was the best on his tm none of those otha niggas colus shoot so who gt da ball WILT!!!!!!!!!

  • This record will stay a long long time, now with teams scoring around 120 at best, how the hell u suppose to score more than 100, u have to hog the ball every play, and almost every shot with defense all over u.

  • Averaging 50 points?!?!?

  • Why it was so easy for him to score 100 points? Itseems unenforceable now. Was he much much better than other basketballers then?

  • @mrP694

This was when Wilt's main weapon was his 10-15 foot fall away jumper, which was virtually unblockable. Inside he'd get double and triple teamed and hacked on but that night he made most of his free throws. Wilt had incredible stamina for a big man (he was a former track star) and the coach told the team to keep feeding him. The guy was just way ahead of his time.

  • "dunk shot, good!" who says that?! haha

  • It was against Knicks? lol, at that time 50 years ago they alredy had no defence)

  • Rip....

  • I can do that.....

  • my hero

  • DUNK SHOT...GOOD!

  • what was the final score of the game?

  • lol at 0:57 "dunk shot"

  • who is beter Wilt or Russell wilt had the stats but Russell had the championships just a question.

  • "dunk shot, good !"

  • Basketball was slot different back then... So that record doesn't really count anymore. Sorry wilt chamberlain lol

  • @MyKoolChannel it went on pure skill, as there was no big investors, so the record should count more

  • this ll never be beated

  • lol this guy would be killed if he was in the nba today (sorry last year forgot about the lockout). Dwight howard would have had 200 pnts if he was alive back than.

  • @GeniusSelfproclaimed That's retarded dude. Look at Wilt. He's just as big and strong as Dwight Howard, and 10x more athletic. Wilt was running marathons at the age of 50.

  • also wilt played with no zone defence

  • @PrUnEJuIcEtHeThIrD Read my above replies to the genius, you might be surprised but Wilt isn't just more athletic than Dwight, he is a LOT taller and longer, and once you put that into perspective, unsurprisingly he even weighed a lot more than Dwight - especially when he was a Laker (300+!). It's funny because people today accuse Wilt of playing 6'9 centers, yet this guy is trying to say Dwight (who is himself only 6'9 - and the best center in today's league) is the superior athlete, LMFAO

  • @dantheman9758 Dwight is not 6'9 nub

  • @87Churn Both 2004 Draft Express and 2008 Team U.S.A. both measured him in his bare feet at exactly 6'9. 2004 Draft Express also measured he's 6'10.25 in shoes and it seems from there the NBA simply rounded up to 6'11 for his list height because that's what they do - round up - they don't like to list NBA heights with decimals, and they almost never round down esp when a players true height might otherwise appear undersized like Dwights. When/where/who measured him at a different height? "nub".

  • @dantheman9758 Dwight is Stronger, More Athletic than Wilt. There were no 3 secs violation before. if this Dwight of today played on Wilts Era he wouldve scored 300 points and prolly average 100 per game, if SHAQ played he wouldve scored 1000 pts and average about 500 per game but like I said Dwight ain't no 6'9 nub.

  • @87Churn 2007-2011 Dwight is likely stronger than HS, NCAA, and '60-'62 NBA Wilt. But 1964 Wilt was playing @ 292lbs and fluctuated between 275-315 until he retired. His frame at 17yrs old was a 6'11 214lb twig that benched over 330lbs, won high jumps, 1/4 mile races, sprints, and smashed the PA state shot put record. At 7'1 225lbs he won 3 High Jump titles in NCAA and held the KU indoor HJ record. So LMFAO @ the notion of him being less athletic. And Wilt did play with modern 3sec rules lol...

  • @dantheman9758 are you blind? look at Dwights muscles frames. look at the way he dunks the ball. do you see those moves from Wilt? even Legends will say that the game will always EVOLVE and players always gets better stronger just like technology it'll continue to evolve and improve.

  • @87Churn So blind that I see Dwight being completely fucking helpless against an opponent with twice his IQ, a 4 1/6th inch height advantage, a 6+ inch wingspan advantage and a 5+ inch standing reach advantage with UNPARALLELED FREAK ATHLETICISM that to this day is simply LEGENDARY. The many opponents of Wilt came and went in all sizes and skill - taller, heavier, shorter, and blessed more post moves than Dwight could shake a stick at. Wilt DOMINATED them. Get back to me when Dwight scores 100.

  • @87Churn /watch?v=kB43A-ODuLc

Watch that. It's precious highlights of the nearly non-existent footage of "prime" athletic Wilt. All Dwights working out and he still has never displayed an ounce of that grace and athleticism Wilt had. Oh, and that puny dwarf center who can't reach as high as Wilt? He's EXACTLY Dwight Howard's size. Minus of course, the glamour muscle that you insist Dwight can use to stop a track star freak who simply outran and out leapt all similarly "strong" opponents.

  • @87Churn Note: In that single game highlight - a SUB-PAR PERFORMANCE FROM WILT - he is destroying guards and forwards on fast breaks (does Dwight do that?), scores 32 points on .545% despite using range & only resorting to dunks TWICE (Could Dwight?), he dunks a missed team mates free throw (ever seen Dwight do that?), he dazzles with no-look passes (does Dwight?), and he AIMS ALL BLOCKED SHOTS to teammates and bolts down court to turn em into points! When has Dwight ever played HALF that good?

  • @GeniusSelfproclaimed Barefoot, Dwight is just 6'9, Wilt's is 7'1.06". Dwights standing reach IN SHOES 9'3", Wilt's BAREFOOT reach was 9' 7" (an inch HIGHER than Shaq's IN SHOES...). Dwights wingspan, 7'3". Wilt's wingspan 7'8" (3 inches WIDER than Yao Mings!) and that'd be a draft record today. Wilt's hand size, 9.5" tall by 11.5" wide, his mits were FAR bigger than dwights. And his vertical in order to highjump his PR (6'6.75") was at minimum 40.4". So what was it you said Dwight would do?

  • @GeniusSelfproclaimed Wilt was also a 10.9 100 sprinter, 49.0 440, 158.00 quarter miler, 24+ foot long jumper, 57 foot triple jumper, 56 foot shot putter, and a conference winning hurdler and as prunejuice just mentioned, ran a marathon at the age of FIFTY on top of being a world class volleyball player into his late 40's. Tiny little 6'9 Dwight wouldn't even have the stamina to play 40 minutes a game of the 1960's fast-break basketball much less keep up with Wilt's 48.5 minute 1962 record.

  • Chamberlain vertical leap to the top of backboard in a game v=3BKEgX5E_E4

  • hw as playing against shitty defenders, kobe would average 99ppg against those pathetic defenders

  • @trezeguet4ever LOL what are you 9 years old!?

  • @dantheman9758 im older than yo mama you dumb fuck, u guys just overrate players. wilt was a great player for his era, but honestly he wouldn't average 20 ppg in this era.

  • @trezeguet4ever Just decide for yourself, I won't argue further

/watch?v=F8lCmjauyH4 This is 6'9 (barefoot) Dwight prepping for the NBA. Dwight is dunking on high school players. This video is a sum of his raw talent. He can average 20ppg today.

/watch?v=kB43A-ODuLc This is 7'1 (barefoot) Wilt prepping for the NBA. This is just from one NCAA final four game, vs SFU going for a three-peat championship. Wilt is against a 6'9 center (Dwights height.) and a 6'8 PF. It sums up Wilt's raw talent.

  • watch?v=kB43A-ODuLc

at 3:12 - Wilt Chamberlain goes to the top of the backboard in a game.

  • its funnt kobe had the 3 line but wilt aint

  • Oh me oh my !!!!!

  • Wilt's record was a remarkable achievement with an avg of 50 points a game, and that day he scored 100 points. That was an extremely impressive accomplishment indeed. A statue of him need to be built and put inside that arena in Philadelphia.

  • He played in a weak era. I'll be impressed if he did it in the 90s.

  • @BENKATOK if 60s so weak how did Kobe just pass the best scorer of that era - Oscar? Same # of seasons.

If 60s was so weak how exactly did Jordan get more than Wilt but yet can't even lead his own 90s era in scoring? Karl has 5000 more points than Jordan in that so called harder era.

You got myth in the brain to get rid of .

Look at basketball reference to see scoring leaders by season. Every year NBA leader gets 28-35 ppg. EVERY year 1955 to K Durant.

Except Wilt who got 15 & 20 ppg more

  • @ZipperZappleZ It's a fact that in the 60s,basketball was still in its infancy. Players were smaller and weaker. They were not fundamentally sound. They can't even handle the ball well. Wilt was just too strrong and too big for that era as he said himself. If he played in the 80s and 90s he wouldn't be as dominant as he was in the 60s. Jordan retired in 93 and 98 that is the only reason Malone is ahead of Jordan in points. About Kobe passing Oscar, Kobe is a better scorer than Oscar...

  • @BENKATOK Well reasoned.

Almost all of it is flawed.. for example....

"fundamentally sound" is only valid within the context of the player's own era - that's a lot like knocking Isaac Newton because he had no knowledge of relativity or aeronautics... same thing with "ball handling" but even more so.... that was completely different because the skills rules were enforced until about 1980.....

but I gotta respect a guy that can make a rational argument

    Here's to a 2011 season!!

  • @ZipperZappleZ Let me ask you something. Is the old Corvette as good as the new Corvette? We're comparing eras here, so it is rational to compare the skills of the players in two eras,

  • @BENKATOK HA!! Well if the roof don't fly off, or sway bars don't fail, & computer don't blow out costing $2500, you can put yer '07 Vette in a time machine to 1967... it'll beat a 67 stingray by about .2 second in the 1/4 all right, but unfortunately...

the fire department will have to go out to the track & pour water on the flames because your 07 Corvette has completely burned up nose to tail from the leaded gas.

Meanwhile '67 Ray will run 4ever... just like the NBA guys did back then

    LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @BENKATOK And in the exact way that new Vette can only run in its own era - your 90s guys can't live outside their little bubble era of rugby basketball.

Where stars get away with anything & everything from pushoffs to slugging opponents, where expansion teams have made it incredibly easy to pad stats, where the league shortens the 3 point line 2 feet, where defensive 3 seconds is allowed, where no skill rule is enforced, where credit for assists is a total joke..

    hahahahaha

  • @ZipperZappleZ LMAO! Allowing defensive 3 seconds and hand checking made it tougher. You just admitted that 90s was much tougher than the 60s or any other era. End of discussion.

  • @BENKATOK I can't believe you even replied after watching your corvette theory GO DOWN IN FLAMES. lolol

Bring Mourning or Shaq out of that bubble era, they foul out every game. But put Wilt IN that era? He would have no problem crushing those expansion teams and if his coach told him to do what shaq did, or karl malone, Chamberlain would average 50ppg every year of the 90s.

He would STILL be 3 inches taller than league average, 25 30 pounds heavier, immensely stronger, more skilled than any C

  • @BENKATOK yer actually gonna let Chamberlain camp in the lane.

    OK!!

  • @BENKATOK ....Let me ask you something is the space shuttle as powerful and capable as a 1960's Saturn IV rocket? Can our more modern space shuttle put men on the moon? Is it better than the Saturn rocket that came before it? NOPE. There are some things that came from the 1960's that are so incredible they actually have no equal today. We haven't been able to afford to put people back on the moon, and basketball has never found a better player than Wilt Chamberlain. He was unbelievable.

  • @dantheman9758 Shuttle is obviously better than the old rocket. It can be loaded with stuffs and assemble an international space station. It can come back to earth decently unlike the old bucket that landed in the sea everytime. They don't need to go to the moon. They are targeting Mars. Wilt scored many points in his era because he played against small, weak and not so skilled players. An era where some players shoot the ball coming from their knees. Olajuwon was more skilled than him.

  • @BENKATOK Wow. You really don't even know how idiotic that sounded do you?

  • @BENKATOK /watch?v=kB43A-ODuLc&feature=relmfu

Wilt in an NCAA final four game wasting a Dwight Howard sized center, and an Amare Stoudemire height/weight defensive specialist PF. This sized front court duo would be one of the biggest in the NBA today, and they double teamed him all night, they'd also triple team him with their 6'5 and 6'6 swingmen. Yah Wilt played against a bunch of weak talentless midgets. Dipshit. Have you EVER watch Wilt Chamberlains games or are you an automatic expert!?

  • @dantheman9758 I've seen many videos of Wilt's game and I wasn't impressed those guys he was playing against were not that good.Defense yhen was crappy. High school kids today can outplay those guys in Wilt's era. WNBA players are more fundamentally sound than them PERIOD!

  • @BENKATOK LOL High school guys?

    /watch?v=F8lCmjauyH4

Like the High school guys Dwight is playing with/against in this video!? They play like garbage dude, Not even close to the NCAA game with WIlt. I'm sorry but you've been drinking way too much ESPN era cool-aid. Foly microphones, sweeping camera angles, break-away rims, and exaggerated player measurements have filled your head with the false presumption that players who actually LACK fundamentals are hugely superior to past players.

  • @dantheman9758

    Instructive though, for poor benkatok.

People say those old era guys played like high schoolers LMAO.

Actually in the same way Howard makes those high schoolers guys look lame, Chamberlain made the NBA level LOOK like high schoolers.

  • I met an older man today that was at this exact game and has the original ticket stub and autographed game program. That's pretty cool. Basketball is history.

  • @dansp5 whats his name

  • 50 ppg

  • for those unaware this is NOT the real game.....it was never recorded.

  • @njnets610

I find it quite disrespectful to mention LeBron James in a Hall of Famer's memorable performance, do you not realize how much this man cared about his stats?

  • I do agree that most white people suck at basketball including myself xD but we got some good people!

  • @undefeatedmcm37 most white ppl dont suck at basketball actually in most aau tournaments i play in the white pppl are the just as if not more skilled then black ppl its just alot of black ppl athletecism makes up for lack of talent

  • Drazen Petrovic scored 112 in one game...

  • @GandB97Newpark Chamberlain scored 60 points in 10 minutes in high school that's about the same as YUBA

  • mj's era was WEAK AS FUCK that's why he dominated

  • @bestballer16 : why are you mentioning MJ in a wilt video?

  • @bestballer16 it is funny how the 90s NBA is supposedly the hardest era.

Yet MJ & Karl Malone somehow scored more than all the 60s greats, Oscar, Jerry West, Havlicek, even Wilt.

How can it be a harder era when they scored more points?

Answer: media makin shit up is all that was

  • they should put this young wilt on 2k12

  • Wait!! I thought NBA wasn't able to record the 100 point game of chamberlain? So why aren't they showing this to "Vintage NBA" or "NBA Classics"

  • He was fuckiing 7'1 he still had 4 inches on them today he would never have that advantage

  • Why is everyone hating on white people?lol thats kinda racist. There have been plenty of white people with great accomplishments in the NBA... Lets focus on equality guys.

  • thats true. white people cant ball.

it was like shooting fish in a barrel

  • Everybody, this is why Wilt Chamberlain's 100 points is better than Kobe's 81. Look in the record book, it doesn't say, "Most points in a game, Wilt Chamberlain with 100 (but Kobe Bryant scored 81 in a tougher league)," All it says is Wilt scored 100, thats why his is better.

  • @hxcpwnage999 are you retarded kobe put up 81 points against the raptors you probably just saw the stat and are talking shit about something that you dont know anything about so hop off your bandwagon

  • @GaryG585 What are you talking about? Read my comment again, if you can read. I'm saying Wilt's is the best because his name is next to the record dumb ass.

  • what do u expect when ur playing against white people

  • Wilt Chamberlain is the best athlete in the nba

  • cleveland buckner 6'9", doug kistler 6'9", phil jordon 6'10", darrall imhoff 6'10". all played on the very team that wilt scored the 100 points against. :)

  • @storminmorman no, Wilt is better because Russell has good teammates in Sam Jones, K. C Jones, John Havlicek, Bob Cousy, Tom Heinsohn

  • It's funny because the other team is just a bunch of little white guys standing around watching.

  • Wilt may be good, but Russel is better

  • @storminmorman50 better team player. Individually, not even close

  • Dajuan Wagner put up 100 points too

  • He is better than Lebron, and Kobe put together in scoring

  • Stop comparing them. None of you are even close to their level. Until you score 61,81,100 points in a nba game. Stop comparing them. One feat is not greater than another until you can do it. Not bout time or specific team or about height. Just Sayin.

  • psh, chuck norris could score 100 points... each quarter

  • this just further proves the knicks' terrible defense.

  • Man, most underrated basket ball player EVER

  • @emotionaL2533 since when is chamberlin underrated?

  • @zmannworld2k6 you see dude, everyone says MJ or kobe or whoever is #1 but i NEVER EVER EVER heard "Wilt Chamberlain" like seriously! avg 50 ppg, grabs a lot of rebounds, blocks, nice Fg%. MJ or kobe or whoever most people think is the best is not even near his greatness!!

WILT CHAMBERLAIN GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER EVER HANDS DOWN!

  • he averged 50 ppg. most players cant even score 30 without it being the biggest game of their carrer

  • back then there was no such thing called "defence".. i mean if u watch the old nba videos 99% of the shots are either hook shots or some1 shooting over another person. they let each other shoot. Today you rarely see hookshots and they all come from big men. its nothing to see some1 shoot over another back then but now when u get shot over its a highlight because it rarely happens now.. exept for kobe, its natural for him.

  • how can somebody dislike this video smh

  • The amazing part of this game is not the 100 pts Wilt scored, but the fact he shot 88% in freethrows (28/32).

  • thumbs up if you think we should be able to drag our comment close to the person we are replyin' to

  • I've scored 213 with tracey migrady in one game on NBA 09

  • i scored 105 points in nba2k11 my player

  • Where was the "D"

  • he's the hardcore black mamba

  • mj would score more than 100pts back than. i mean look at the athletes back than there was no competition at all...

  • @globalplayer1988 If competition is so much harder now, how come jordan past wilt in scoring?

If MJs league was so hard just how did he get all those points? and if it was so easy then, how can kobe just pass oscar robertson on the all-time scoring list?

How is the league harder in the 90s when not only did jordan get more points than wilt's so-called easy baskets... Karl Malone scored EVEN MORE than Jordan did by 5,000 points. In the same so-called harder NBA

You make no sense at all

  • @musikaNeues just watch the air jordan highlights with bird magic thomas ewing malone you'll know what i'm talking about and then watch this video with wilt against nobody's look there were a lot of great players in the 90's unlike the 60's and oscar had a short career retired too soon thats why kobe passed him on the alltime scoring list.

  • @globalplayer1988 I watched all those guys, saw all of them from courtside. Great players, all of them.

Kobe has been playing for 14 seasons. Oscar played for 14 seasons.

  • @dallas021 (Im sure you'll point out how he made 28 from the line, Which is more remarkable considering the person)

  • @dallas021 He did have a clear size advantage, but that doesnt undermine his skill. He had some serious technique for a bigman, including a Hookshoot, a soft fingeroll and a good mid-range fadaway. Also, wilt wasnt as good a freethrow shooter as kobe is was he?

  • dunk shot good! haha

  • Ok everybody Wilt Chamberlain 100 point game is not better than Kobe 81 point game, it wasnt easy to score a 100 points back then but for him it was, think about it he was 7 foot 1 playing 6 foot people lol and then today game people are way more athletic!

  • @YoungMoodyBaby REALLY? Kobe went to the foul line often enough in that game. In wilts time foul calls were pretty uncommon and defense was much more physical and agressive. In fact defensive coordinators encouraged players to foul.. and he STILL manage to score with that kind of pressure, watch the vid, watch the post moves, the heigh difference was not that serious, the defense was still good.

  • @YoungMoodyBaby 6 foot people huh? ... *face palm

  • go to my channel for an impressive wilt video. hahaha

  • Back then u had a couple amazing players( wilt, jordan) and the rest were pathetic chickens running around. Of course its not gonna be brocken cause the skill level in the NBA today is 10000000000000 times better than it was back then.

  • @vShoTzZ25 Wilt played mainly in the 60's MJ played in the 80's

  • @vShoTzZ25 Is that why today's greatest scoring guard Kobe just passed the 60s greatest scoring guard Oscar on the all-time scoring list? Because the league is so much harder now?

  • @vShoTzZ25 dude... i love wilt and jordan... but half of those "pathetic chickens" could wipe the floor with kobe and lebron.... people who never watched the old school players shouldnt talk bad about them. Who do you think the new kids modeled their game after? think about it.

  • LMFAO what was score cuz i know they got they ass blown out

  • All the white fans were shaking there head and saying " We are done, no more white angels dominating" Lol.

  • Back then there was no defensive three second rule, so the defence could always run a zone or stack the inside to stop him, now days the key is left wide open, yet players still dont score as many points, wich makes you relise how great players like chamberlain, kareem and jordan really were..

  • 100 points? men that's difficult

  • Comment removed

  • who said basketball is a team sport

  • @TheRealBeeQue he lost that game, when Wilt scored a 100 pts he lost that game Bball is a team sport

  • he is not a legend he is for real

  • "Dunk shot good"

  • Greatest of all time

  • looks like derrick rose.

  • almost as good as Scalabrine

  • I dont think 100 points will ever be reached again. no one could match up against wilt in his time, but now there is so much talent in the nba now, kobes 81 will probably be the closest for a while.

  • @antigravitydawgz If Wilt played today he wouldn't have got 100 points in a game or averaged 55 a game. The competition back then wasn't nearly as good and Wilt was a great.

  • @lasoogneypubes Now the rules actually help the offense. When Jordan was playing (Wilt too) you could put your hands immedeately on their chest and as he said, no def. 3 second. The NBA has made it easier for players to score, PLUS back then, it was more of a defensive fame.

  • truly amazing!

  • What are you talking about? Wilt was quintuple teamed and still scored 100points. To even score 100points is impressive and Yao Ming is double teamed and scores 20points yeah he sucks

  • 5 people cant score 1 point

  • listen up KIDS, dont compare wilt to kobe's 81. he had a bloody 3 point line to help him, and some ass ref to call for a foul for the slightest touch you can get..... and btw, wait till kobe hits 100 and we'll talk.... whoever said nba wasnt competitive back then is either an imbecile who have an iq of a lima bean.... or he hadnt seen nba classic matches....

  • That defense would be torn up by the media now, NEVER plugging the lane.

  • @mimeblood4 you should talk less next time.

  • Guys stop resepecting him just cause hes a legend. Just admit that Kobe's 81 point game was harder

  • @L3g3ndkill4 Yes everyone knows the Toronto Raptors had such a fierce defense and yes he had a big height advantage but the nba was tougher,in todays game you can bet there will be a call every other play,so stop comparing players from different era's it really is pointless. I don't hate Kobe he is one of my favorite players in the nba but don't say that people should stop respecting a guy because he is a legend.

  • @L3g3ndkill4 Kobe's 81 was simple, a 3 point line, easy fouls, rules now geared toward offense and discouraging aggressive defense, and Wilt played in a pre dominately defensive league, while since 2002, most players tend to be more on the offensive side. Jordan's 69, and Wilt's 100 will always be greater than Kobe's 81. I want to see Kobe score 100, then well talk.

  • @dhstandard22 Are you serious? In the NBA if a player hits that 40 point mark in 2nd half hes on fire. Therefore players must defend him 5 x better. Kobe was getting double teamed. He was simply on fire. Watch the game first, then well talk. Fool

  • @L3g3ndkill4 Wilt was quad and even quint teamed at points, but the team wanted to have him make shots. And I never said Kobe's was easy but he didn't face Jordan rules and he is in an easier version of the league. You didn't argue anything retard...

  • Lol great accomplishment but try this against yao Ming haha but yeah not to great. I scored 108 points on nba2k11 my player mode xD

  • @AnGeLoPwNs Dude no shit, its easy to do that in a video game, he did it in real life, which is insanse. and Yao has been hurt for like the past 4 seasons so he couldnt do it against him hahaha

  • @TrademarkFTW yeah i know, it was a joke and i ment against yao ming, yao ming doesnt score more then 10. but yeah wilt is one of the best.

  • @AnGeLoPwNs what are you talking about? yao ming scores like over 20 points a game, before he was injured. plus, he draws double teams.

  • @Noobssuckass300 dude yao ming is all height and so what wilt scored 50 points a game, plus its not that big of a deal calm down.haha

  • he met Chuck Norris before that game

  • Kobe's 81 point performance is still better. NBA wasnt competitive back thenn

  • @tothebeaty0 LOL are you serious? Today refs call fouls on the stupidest things...NBA was much more competitive back then...now its so easy to get fouled and go to the free throw line.
