  • @sarsky9

Hey there I'm in the process of buying my first airsoft 1911, can u tell if a KJW is compatible with a co2 cylinder and/or a so called gas mag? And also which one is more efficient?

  • @Explorerclass84 the kjw is a gas blowback airsoft gun meaning it requires a compressed gas to propel the bb and operate the action. the kjw has the ability to use 12 gram co2 cartridges due to slots it the mag well that allow room for the co2 cartridge to fit like a regular magazine. The co2 cartridge must first be inserted in to the co2 specific magazine to work in the gun. The kjw can also uses "green gas" which is a compressed gas stored in an external tank used to fill "gas mags".

  • @sarsky9 fair enough, thanks for your help.

  • hello! i love your vid! it rocks! how much would the gas airsofts cost? i only have a crappy $2 spring gun, and i want to get a good airsoft pistol. Thanks! :-)

  • @scotty101fun Hey! I'd say the very best airsoft 1911 is the KWA/KSC (KSC and KWA is the same thing). It is a very, very sturdy gun and i've never heard of any real problems with it. It usually comes in at 125-140$. Then there is the WE version. I like the colour better on the WE one and its only 95-110$ + it comes with 2 magazines. But it really isn't as high quality as the KWA/KSC one.

  • can you swap the grips from the real 1911 to the WE version? I have the WE M1911 and am thinking about ordering some grips...

  • finally an airsoft video where those morons can't say "get a real gun"..

  • or maybe its just the terrible quality

  • none of these are actually the 1911a1 the 1911a1 has a friction pad on the back side of the grip underneath the grip safety and also a very small trigger

  • @xxdevoidzxx yeah… and these also shoot little plastic bbs and come stock with a big orange tip. my point is, of course are not the browning design, Colt mfg, 1911-a1. the springfield is very close in all respects though. however, a company can call their products what ever they want. Even "1911a1" so technically they are a 1911a1(real firearms included). To comply with your definition of a "1911a1" all I would have to do is swap the mainspring housing for one that is checkered on the SF G.I.

  • can i trade yu for one of the gbbs?

  • wich is better the we or the kjw?

  • @TKG1201 kjw. we is lower quality.

  • whats the one with the us grips?

  • @TKG1201 Springfield Armory GI 45acp.

  • you should co,pare the disassembly

  • I personally think that the kjw green gas version is the best of all of the airsoft guns in this world that are modeled after the Colt m1911. I have personally owned both the we and the kjw but i thought the we was a piece of crud so i sold it and decided to keep the kjw. Evry airsoft game i go to i always bring my kjw because it is the best sidearm (airsoft of course) that you can get without going full automatic. I also think that the kjw is still alot closer to the real steal version of the

  • 0:19 Sounds like the start of a magic trick ;)

  • should i get a co2 version of the we 1911?

  • my favorite 1911 is the Springfield Armory 1911 Operator.

  • Where do you find your extra mags?

  • the kjw comes with an extended barrel with orange on the extended part infront of the barrel bushing- how did you shorten the barrel?

  • @mikethenascarfan lets just say that i could have possibly maybe put the barrel in what may have been a vice and then i might have possible used a hack saw and potentially cut the orange part off. but this is just a "idea". so yeah. lol

  • @sarsky9 You know what might possibly have happened a week ago- i may have been holding what some may call a hand grinder and possibly might have what some peple say made contact with the barrell and a hand grinder, and might have done it repeatedly by accident until it posibly looks what some people call real.!

  • So I just bought the WE 1911 and I gotta day it's pretty fucking amazing, I waited a whole week for it for shipping, OR I could have bought the KJW version right around the block at airsoft extreme, I didn't want the KJW only cause the giant mag, but it takes co2 and thats more convenient, cause the co2 is cheap, I didn't even buy gas for my gun cause it's expensive, so I have to save up, did I make the right choice?

  • @The1wHoOwnSu08 yes!!! great choice!!!

  • @The1wHoOwnSu08 you know that the kjw also has a green gas model?

  • @The1wHoOwnSu08 you can buy a huge tank of propane, and order a propane adaptor (preferably one with a nozzle of silicone) for a lot less. because green gas is just propane with silicone

  • @The1wHoOwnSu08 get a propane adapter and use propane but make sure to lube it. co2 will break your gun faster

  • For the kjw 1911 how did u get a orange tip off its painted..n did u saw the barrel off?

  • Can i put a silencer on the Colt M1911 A1 Green Gas Full Metal Pistol?

  • Very cool but why so many versions of the same gun?

  • @Russelltheloner its the 1911. period

  • @sarsky9 I see that but just a friendly question to why you own 4 of the same model (1911) lol but you have your reasons.

  • if you have the real version of the gun, why do you bother with bying softguns???????

  • @TheMoemeizter

because airsoft guns you can actually shoot at people? when someone buys an airsoft gun it's never because they can't buy a real gun. Airsoft is a sport fyi.

  • Hey How would you rate the black sports authority one I was considering one.

  • in ww2 they didnt have those fancy wooden grips they had plastic ones

  • @MrSheepy99 I somehow doubt that they used platic in ww2. probably just cheap wood.

  • @MrSheepy99 they didnt start using the plastic grips until the late 50s/early 60s

  • @FullTiIt no im pritty sure your rong

  • @FullTiIt hi, im a 1911 fan, but they stared using plastic grips around middle of ww2 on the 1911a1 model since it was easier and faster and cheaper to inject molten plastin in a mould than making wooden grips.

  • the first airsoft pistol you showed was based on the colt and exept for the in scriptions on the real one on the outside it looks exactly the same you ar trying to compare two different guns and then saying one is wrong it wat the 1911a1 that was used in ww2 aswel!

  • Jeez, y not call it ramble on for 15 min.

@garandguy. A1 is for the slight changes made in 1924, nothing to do w ww1.

  • Colt 1911- best pistol in the friggen world

  • how did you get the orange tip off of the KJW 1911 CO2 version?

  • how much did the one on the top left cost and where did you get it?

  • Thanks really helped btw I hav the real colt to I just replaced the grips with white ones

  • whihc is the most realistic, the kjw or we? i wanted the we, but the kjw is sopposedly more durable

  • i think my we is comin in the mail tomorow! good vid

  • does the kjw gun have an tokio mauri operating system

  • now that i think of it..the barrel of the 1911 is frickin long compared to others....atleast it looks that way

  • actually the a1 1911 was used in ww2

  • @techiscool1 im well aware. where did you derive that from?

  • @sarsky9 idk it just seemed like you were saying the a1 was not used in ww2.

  • @sarsky9 the a1 had a longer trigger pull, the and was used in w2II due to the fact they were still produced up to the 1920s the new colt 1911, the model that saw service in WWII, korea, vietnam, and in service today has a longer trigger pull and some new parts, but honsetly still ,it is bassically a clone of its old counter parts. The colt 1991 is a discontinued model 1911, with extra saftey features, was wide recieved as an overly complex 1911, so the orignal still previals today.

  • @techiscool1 it was used in ww1 also.....hence colt 1911a1.....it was first produced in 1911. ww1 1914-1918

  • @TheGarandGuy the a1 was adopted in 1924 and the 1911 was produced be4 1911 also that's why colts pattens start at 1908.

  • @techiscool1 both in WWI

  • @techiscool1 and in WWI

  • @greekfitercod4ever Wrong, 1911 was used in ww1 but the a1 was NOT used in ww1. They both were used in ww2 however.

  • @techiscool1 Just to add on to that 1911 has seen the last leg of the hidden war, korean, vietnam, WWI, desert storm and it is still being used by the special forces

  • @techiscool1 ACTUALLY BOTH were used in ww2

  • @techiscool1 dude the 1911 was first used in world war one and it has been used since

  • @420foefoe he said the A1 model wich is true, the 1911a1 model was introduced in 1927 as a cheaper to produce one for the military. but the regular 1911 was also used in bothe wars(regular models had wooden grips) the a1 model also has a groove cut out beside the triger to make it esier to grip the trigger.

  • @cooey84 the a1 was simply an improvement of the original 1911. changes include grooves for trigger finger on frame, along with a shorter trigger, larger grip safety tail(to prevent hammer bite), arched main spring housing(to help fit larger hands). thats about it. little to no cost difference to produce however because there are so few changes and the same companies made them(not just colt.. Remington Rand is another).

  • how good is that GI 1911. i heard many of them need modifications like they have problems with the ejection. but the Mil-specs dont. and is it a good gun out of the box(both airsoft and real)?

  • @4everUSNavy i love the GI. ive never handled a mill spec so i cant really compare it to that. ive never had and ejection problems at all, maybe two or three hickups feeding but thats over about a thousand rounds or so. i also own two kimber 1911s. and so far the only difference as far as performance goes between the GI and A kimber is the accuracy. GI holds a decent group at 25 yards but the kimbers are always spot on. then again a kimber is twice the price of a GI. so i definitely recommend it

  • can you put real gun grips on an airsoft 1911?

  • @BuyMEaTACOorIkillyou umm its possible but you would have to do quite a bit of modification especially if you are putting the grips on a co2 gun because the frame under the grip panels is no longer flat so as to make room for a co2 cartridge. but it could be done.

  • @sarsky9 so if i put them on the kjw 1911 i would have to cut semi-circles in the grips to attach it because the gun is co2 ready?

  • @BuyMEaTACOorIkillyou yes you would. this is easily accomplished with a dremel. but i still cant promise you that the two screw holes will match up perfectly. depends on the brand.

  • is the kjw 1911 better than the we 1911? which one do u recommend?

  • @rideantic we 1911 any day

  • do you know where i can find a co2 real steaal pistol? it'd be a huge help brother.

  • @Phaintjean real steel means that it is a real firearm, one that does not use co2 or anything other than gun powder.

  • @sarsky9 I'm looking for a replica, co2 powered the most realistic co2 i can find.

  • @Phaintjean probably

  • i can't hearrrr youuu...!

  • does CO2 ruin the internals?

  • @TheFuggedaboutit it can if you dont oil it often. a good solution is to use green gas every few mag changes

  • howd you fire the kjw without the co2 cartridge on the mag o.o?

  • @ggtRiiiPpy it uses co2 OR green gas mags

  • Great video, almost exactly what I was looking for (as far as reviews).

  • You should check out KWA's M1911 Mark PTP series

  • Which has the harder kick the kjw or the we

  • @Weegeehunter1 they are identical to me as far as green gas goes. but the kjw with co2 has some serious recoil for an airsoft gun.

  • In ur oppinion, PT1911 or Springfeild Arms 1911

  • @compugeekmsn springfield. i dont thing i would ever trust a taurus pistol. i do however own two taurus revolvers and they're awesome. i have never had any problems with my springfield gi however the only 1911 that i would take over it is a kimber. i own two kimber 1911s and they are incredibly accurate and great quality

  • so the real steel version is a real gun?

  • looks like ur a fan of 1911s

  • how does the Marui do comparied to the WE version of the Colt M1911A1 ?

foremost in FPS, duability and metal parts...

    Thank you

  • herp derp

  • Is the KJW worth buying or is it not a reliable pistol? I love CO2 guns and blowback is nice too and I have been after a 1911 for a long time. Cheers.

  • @Greataardvark ehhh its not all the great. go with the green gas we

  • where did u buy the KJw and WE 1911's

  • @ssswami6998 i seen a kjw 1911 at evike. its $109 for co2 and the gas is alittle cheaper

  • I thought the kjw co2 version mag wasn't flush with the gun

  • @zz123by680 its not! it sticks out probably another half inch or so

  • on your kjw co2 airsoft pistol is the barrel metal or plastic? please let me know i want to buy it but i want a metal barrel so let me know please thanks, good video

  • plz to an extendend KJW review i was thinking of buying one also wich would u reccomend KJW or WE i just want it to be realistic but also perform well

  • here's a question: choosing between the KJW co2 1911 or the kJW tactical version, which would you recommend (both co2)

  • Hey,Will the slide stop from the real steel fit the KJW? I'm in kind of a bind and would have an easier time finding a rel steel one.

  • If you put .28g in the colt airsoft gun how many fps does it shoot

  • Bell or We m1911?

  • nice

  • Very nice firearm.

  • i got a personal question for you:

Between the KJW and the WE, which one do you prefer?

  • we mostly because its made a little better.

but the kjw has more power only when using co2.

  • wow really? i usually hear the opposite; KJW is made much better than WE. But i kinda wanna get a WE, seeing as already have a KJW and i wanna compare the two.

  • @sarsky9 thnk you i need it that answer. ^^

  • @sarsky9 I think so 2. The WE tech version and the KJW version are the same price but the WE has better detail and made better.

  • @sarsky9 Haha, We's are not better, their mags are definately better than kjw, but kjw knows overall how to make a better overall reliable pistol.

  • @Keyblader7762 uhhhhhh no. we SUCKS. take my word for it. it has terrible internals, and it is NOT built better. kj works makes much better internals and its externals are great too. you cannot trust we

  • @thisisjonnyh you my friend are quite mistaken. i do know what im talking about. i own both guns and i have great knowledge as far as egineering and materials go. in fact i happen to be a mechanical engineer studing at the university of central florida. please do not lead my viewers in a wrong and ignorant direction again.

  • @sarsky9 ouch..

  • @sarsky9 Which one do you prefer? The WE 1911 or the KJW?

  • @AutomaterMastermind we 1911 much better quality

  • @sarsky9 really???!?!?!??!!!?!?! id go with kjw on that one but everyones different. still neither beat out the kwa 1911 mk3

  • @ARTerialBleed the only reason i say go with the we is because there is an obvious difference in metal quality. the slide release catch slot on the slide of the kjw wore out within a few weeks. and that has yet to happen of even show signs of happening on the we. this is the most obvious difference. the we is also much more accurate due to a higher quality barrel.

  • @thisisjonnyh shout up the We is good enough, never jams the kjw jams a lot. Take my word.

  • the safety on the kjw is the military style.

  • You've got some nice springers.

Sorry. I've just got a love for mechanical cocking. (soo wrong...)

  • the we version is 105 with free shipping at airsoftgi

  • lol is that a gigacounter in the background

  • they hav a colt made pellet gun at pyramid air

  • which one do you recommend?

the KJW co2 M1911 or the WE green gas M1911

  • Airsofters from Europe and Japan would be so jealous.

  • where did you get the first co2 pistol

  • I think you can get one online from ehobbyasia. It's the KJ Works 1911.

  • Can you chamber the WE and carry it hammer down, but pop the hammer back for a first shot? It'd suck if you couldn't carry it condition two; not that it's my preferred method (condition one, here), but it's dumb when a gun limits your carry options.

I prefer the Marui pistols. They're plastic GBB, but they function really well.

  • Also, sorry to double post, but:

I've found the WE has a low capacity magazine, shoddy magazine quality (leaks), and the silver barrel looks really out of place in what is supposed to be a M1911A1 pistol.

Random note: Wartime M1911 and M1911A1 grips were actually made out of plastic, not wood.

  • Comment removed

  • And why in the world would you buy a modern M1911A1? There are no real advantages. The WE doesn't even have the sights or scalloped ejection port the MilSpec has.

  • The Mil Spec isn't all too modern.......

Springfield Milspec has no advance sights

    it has no beavertail

it has a Stainless barrel(Like the WE)

but right no scalloped ejection port

  • It has high profile sights with a dot front. At any rate, it isn't a *classic* M1911A1.

  • i prefer co2 its cheaper too

  • No way is co2 cheaper than green gas. Especially if you use a propane adapter. While no gas is completely consistent in pressure co2 drops off much quicker than propane.

  • I wish the KJW 1911 was parkerized.

  • there is a version of the KJW that is trademarked..

  • But they're ugly nail-polish white trademarks.

  • Hey you said you had like a million spare mags for your spring 1911. where did you get them? I was pretty mad that the KWC only comes with one.

  • Well, the KWC mags are available at most places for 12 bucks a pop, but they're horribly impractical. The BB retainer means you can't carry spares without them spraying out BBs. It'd be better just to carry a speedloader.

  • You're absolutely right.

  • Hey man, great review... I am looking on getting a 1911 GBB. I have a full metal KJW sig p229 and it is a great gun. but my only complaint ishow easy it is to cock the gun when you want to chamber a bb, etc. My dad has the real sig p229 and it is very difficult to cock it and the feel is great.... out of both the WE, and KJW you have, how to they compare to your Springfield when you cock the slide? Thanks for your time...

  • PolarisRngrxp, im sorry to tell you that you probably wont be able find a gbb with resistance in the recoil spring that would even come close to a real hand gun. this is becuse the consumption of gas to move the slide with a harder spring would diminish your gas in like 2 shots. so really both of those gbbs have very lite recoil springs. the only type of harder springed airsoft guns would be cheap springers or top of the line electric semi-auto pistols. i hope this answers your question.

  • On my account, i am concerned about the recoil of the airsoft GBB. I ONLY want to get one (KJW 1911 or WE MUE 1911) because i'm hoping their recoil is that of about a .22. Is the recoil of a GBB even hard at all?

  • I would say that it is around a .22, everyone who has fired my KJW 1911 has been surprised by the kickback =], BTW you have a great taste in guns =]

  • @PolarisRngrxp some pistols have a more stiff spring that you can buy aftermarket, but I have only seen them for glocks
