I know its totally late now because Lilia is much too old for the bassinet, but when my sibling used one we cut a board the size of the mattress and covered one side in double sided sticky tape. Then the cats really hated to climb in it. We would keep it in there during the day and whenever they weren't in it. Just a thought for the future.

I realized this week that TONS and TONS of stretchmarks have crept up on me...under my belly where I can't see them without the help of a mirror!!! :( It looks like I got mauled by a bear or something. I told my husband that I want stertchmark laser removal for christmas lol! You're lucky you only have a few!! You look great!

I think that the rule is that if you have a natural birth, you have to stay for 2 days and if you have a c-section, then you have to stay hospitalized for 4 days. Also, make sure that you have a car seat in the car for he ride home or else they don't let you go home until you have one. Good Luck!

hello i'm 24 weeks your videos help me a lot. my friend give birth 4 months ago and after she lost the mucus she went to labor in 24 hours so maybe that information help you i hope is no to late jajaja, i know walking is very good for labor and the pool too. my mom says the day before labor you want to clean everything i don't know they said that in my country try lo drink a lot of water and don't eat too much that is not good for labor, congratulations and good luck.

LOL not to be weird or anything, but you and I both lost our mucus plugs on the same day! Your lilia and my brayden need to COME OUT! Everyone has told me that swimming really helps, not particularly to INDUCE labor, but help dilate and efface faster. Not sure why, but i think its helped me move along a bit...he fully dropped after swimming for hoursss. Who knows...good luck!!! Hope to not hear from you next week! LOL

@RiDEinSTRiDES My son was face up when I delivered him and as I pushed he was turning in the birth canal. It was the most painful labor Ive had and he was my 3rd baby. So it definitely makes a difference as to how your labor goes. Plus some women have a hard time pushing out a baby face up as its supposed to be face down and thats when a vacuum sometimes is used.

@aveburytree I agree, it ups the risk for c sections! If I go overdue I'd rather give it extra time and try accupunture or something. Sometimes you get a bunch of stretch marks AFTER you give birth..because your skin shrinks so fast :( . That's what happened to me. But hopefully you don't. You look great!!

OH! sorry for another comment but i had back labor thru it all and she was posterior the entire time until it was time to push...we saw her head turn right before she came out so I hope Lilia turns for you!!! Back labor was painful...i went 6cm before i got an epidural but only cuz walking helped me out a lot. I walked em off and had hubby rub my back wen i had to sit down to get my cervix checked! So that's just my tip to u :)

o yeah, also...i recommend using a mirror...it helped me sooooo much in figuring out how hard to push and wen to push. i only pushed for 45mins thanks to the mirror! Also I didn't hv the epidural for the last 2cm and during pushing so I could feel the cnx n know wen to push. are u planning on gettin an epidural?
