@lasosg Apple would have to prove that it was the jailbreaking software that did to damage the phone hardware for warranty to not be valid. Unless you ended up with a permanent brick this wouldnt happen. Besides tha Apples warranty sucks anyhow...your better off getting an aftermarket one from a reputable warranty service.

no it does hurt or harm, doesnt make it crash, or anything like that... what type of i pod do u have? first or second gen? if u have second gen then the only thing u have to worry about is shutting it off completely... since it is new software for i pod second gen, it cant be shut off fully, i dont know why, thats just the way it is...
