I think her guitar is too big for her. She is having trouble holding certain notes and reaching, with both hands, across all 6 strings. She has a lot of potential for sure, but she needs a slightly smaller guitar.

I'm sad that my mother didn't push me into the piano more at a young age. I'm very good at it, but because I didn't have as much experience, I lost the chance to become a professional.

@pretzelzetzel Nope. sorry. Parents wishing that they had done something in their youth often pressure their kids to do it. Thats the problem. Assuming that they like it because they have to do it is not ipso facto as you put it. Now, they may one day be glad they did it but thats another story. I never liked playing foot ball like some of my friends in high school but I now wish I had, even if it was to get known. Oh well. I had plenty of fun doing other things in ROTC (which I liked).
