  • What movie is 5:13 from? where shes dancing in the yellow dress?

  • @envy16kate That is from "Marriage on the Rocks" with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

  • She truly does act with her eyes! And she has beautiful eyes, I can't look away from them!

  • Your video made me weep buckets. My favorite actress. I have it featured on my message board the next few days.

  • An exceptional actress and woman!!!!!

  • It is so weird to see her in some older films. I just get this weird feeling inside. Probably all of her movies ive seen, she has been so young. Wonderful video by the way!

  • One word: Amazing. Really lovely video, of an actress that were perfect in anyway. :D Good job :D

  • Love her!! She was truly amazing!

  • That was beautiful Sara. One of the best tributes I've ever seen, for any movie star. Deborah Kerr was not only a great actress, but she seemed like a really nice person too.

  • Beautiful!

  • I can't stop watching this!!! It is just so beautiful. Please tell me the title of the musical piece. It is just so perfect with your montage.

  • OMG this is definitely the best Deborah Kerr tribute I've ever seen. It made me cry. :') Thank you for making this. <3 Oh and by the way, what is the film at 5:11?

  • @MrsRickyRicardo That clip is from "Marriage on the Rocks" with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. I watched it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was fun. Miss Kerr looked absolutely stunning and her wardrobe was incredible.

  • I got all farklempt watching this beautiful montage of a beautiful and extraordinary actress. They certainly don't make 'em like her anymore. Thanks for posting this. I can't even begin to imagine the time and work you put into it.

  • One of the best actresses in the world!

  • SHe was such a great actress- and such a beautiful Woman...

    one of the greatest

  • OMG what happened at 1:41 ?!?!?!?!

you know someone is beautiful if they can look like this 2:12 :)

    most GORGEOUS transition @ 0:41

    2:30 Meryl Streep!! spitting image

    6:15 amazing.. truly amazing

was she in another movie with Cary Grant, besides "an affair to remember?"

  • @orhugs 1:41 is from Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison. I think that is from the scene where Robert Mitchum got pulled into the water by a sea turtle. She was in two other movies with Cary Grant: Dream Wife, and the Grass is Greener.

  • I simply LOVE your tribute to the always amazing and beautiful Deborah Kerr. I grew up watching her movies and still to this day love watching them. Beautifully done!

  • I think that im too young to have seen one of her movies, but this really touches me.. I saw some amazing performings here, and im willing to see some of her movies now.. SHe must have been an extraordinary human being

  • Very well done ! I love Deborah Kerr.

  • Thank you for this wonderful tribute!!!

  • 1:25 is it just me or does she look like Marilyn Monroe there? but prettier?

  • I cried watching this...

  • Thank you Mom and Dad for naming me after such a beautiful and talented lady! I can't think of a greater honor! Deborah Kerr, Ohio

  • I think 0:45 is from The Hucksters. 1:15 is Julius Caesar.

  • @babyoscar530 Oh Thank you!

  • What movie is 0:45 from?!?!?!?!?!

  • This is such a freakin wonderful tribute!!!!!! I ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT!!!!!! I think this video makes me wish I was born in the late 30's the most!!!!! Oh how I wish I could see all these movies!! Well done on the video!! 5 stars!

  • Wonderful tribute. What is the movie at 1:15?

  • Ok well that last comment I did half way through. But by the end I was bawling! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! It just made me love her 1,000,000 times more! Seriously! And I didn't realize she died 3 years ago tomorrow. Oh my goodness I wish I could see all these movies! Heck I wish I was like her! Pshhh hell I wish I could meet her!! One day hopefully =) THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

  • YOU HAVE ALL THESE MOVIES?? I. AM. JEALOUS! haha thank you for making this! I discovered Deborah and few weeks ago and INSTANTLY 'fell in love'! she's such a wonderful lady!!! Seeing these vids., with the music you selected and knowing she's up in heaven keeps almost making me cry! Very beautiful!! Wish I could watch all these! But so far I've only seen An Affair to Remember, The King ang I, The Journey, and The Innocents. Thank you sooo much for this! do you have one for her birthday this year?

  • YES! Deborah Kerr was "amazing".

Ya know how you see certain performers on the screen and you can't stop smiling. That's what Miss Kerr did for me...thanks:D

  • damnit! you made me cry... :)

  • Lovely video celebrating the beautiful Deborah. Great job!! Also the music is perfect. It happens to be from one of my favorite films, The Holiday. :) Thanks for sharing!!

  • This is a great video.

  • She was a fantastic actress. Her performance in 1961's "The Innocents" is one of the greatest ever filmed.

  • This is a truly wonderful, beautiful tribute to her. What a gifted, magnificent woman, and I was so saddened/upset when TCM only chose to air a couple of her movies after she died. Shortly before that, Jane Wyman had passed, and a whole day of programming was devoted to her. I thought that was terrible, they would honor one actress for a whole day but not the other. I know Wyman was married to a president and everything, but still, just still is not the same level of respect shown. Thanks again!

  • really beautiful tribute. just perfect. if you don't mind my asking, what is the film at 2:00?

  • @darlingdelovely Thank you! Of course not, that happens to be "The Journey" :)

  • @saraismyname thank you! and really? i've seen it but have no recollection of this moment. so much for my memory. ;)

  • @darlingdelovely Yes, it's like half through the movie when she tells, I think it's Robert Morley character, all about Paul. Haha, well we all have our share of "senior moments"...gee it makes you sounds quite old when you use expressions like "senior moments" ;D well it fits with when I think I should have been born anyways ;)

  • @saraismyname just re-watched that part thanks to yt! her look in that scene seems so different from the other costumes/general look of the film that i couldn't place it. definitely a senior moment. :D

  • omg that ending made me wanna cry! this is beautiful!

  • Beautifully edited

  • I've seen several tributes on Youtube. This one is definetely the best si far. You made me love Deborah Kerr more than what I used to. Thank you very much. Oscar, from Peru.

  • This is the best tribute on amazing Deborah I have seen. It is just perfect. It just blew me away. It just showed me how much I love this woman. She was so remarkable and should be remembered by everyone. She was one the best actresses ever and it is a pity that many people don´t know her.

Once again, I congratulate you on that video. I could have watched it for hours. At times I wanted to cry and others to laugh. Brilliant. Where did you get all those video and audio clips btw?

  • even in about 1000 years a video like this will still touch people because what you have created here is a real homage to this unique actrice, it's timeless, classic, sensitive, it's art.

the choice of music and sequences, the rhythm, the editing, everything is perfect.

but please, what films are 1:44 and 2:00 ? and where did you get all those wonderful interview sequences? are there any videos to them?

  • Aww, thank you so much! That's An Affair to Remember at 1:44 and The Journey at 2:00 :) Well, the clips where Peter's talking is from a video that's part of the special features on the An Affair to Remember DVD I got, and the "sand in my pants" and "I think that's discousting" is from radio interviews that's on the Deborah site that's in the description box and the "with our special guest star" is from when she was on The Jack Benny Show. I hope that answered all your questions :)
