  • Wonderful

  • The vedas dont mention any specific name, as being a God; but describe the qualities of the ONE true God - the 4 vedas and upanishads say that 'God is a Saviour who will come to sacrifice Himself for humans i.e He will suffer, die and then rise up from death and only His blood can cleanse human sins and give eternal life/moksha and salvation. Read the vedas to know more and contemplate as to who this one God could be, that fulfills the criteria of these divine sacred texts. best wishes.

  • I wish Hindus again learn Sanskrit and read Vedas directly, truth will prevail.

  • lol immediately theres no mention of immediate or orders dont be illogical and make fun of the vedam!

  • lol immediately theres no mention of immediate dont be illogical and make fun of the vedam!

  • this is big bang

  • both the weda and the torah note the account of creation...

  • Now i know why and how the ancient hindu rishis used to live for thousands of years. From today i will count my 100years of life as one year . that way i did not even reach half the year of my life and i still have thousands of years, just by removing the present day's time calculation methods which are limiting human life to just 100 years . and i know that interplanetary travel is possible with our physical body alone, if we can control mind, space and time...Om...

  • ...and neither was there air space nor heavens beyond,

neither was there dead nor immortality nor was there any signs of night or day, totally windless alone the one breathed beyond that indeed nothing whatever was... this lines were really exciting about the creation of the universe my knowledge is limited here i cannot even imagine what will be there if there is a world without world????????

  • let there be peace on earth...om santi santi santi

  • Peace, Peace , Peace

  • It is very good to see and listen the vedic chants that too when people very much

interested and habituated in India, when they come out India , these are very very

valuable and gives energy and make one experience the mental happiness and

very much thankful to the YOU TUBE and request them to send this to my e mail

to enable me to forward it to those who has the interest

  • @8:30 to 8:51 anybody write all the english words that were spoken. Please. Thanks

"Man was an animal until divine knowledge was placed in him"

"Man was an animal until divine knowledge was placed in him"

  • Its awesome! The Sanatan Dharma is the mother of all religions. The Sanatan Dharma has the knowledge within herself. The Sanatan Dharma was never started will never end till the time people have LOVE in their heart. You may be a Muslim,Christian or may follow any other faith. But in reality you are practicing a form of Sanatan Dharma only. It doesnt claim superiority because it is the only religion.

  • touching heart

  • wowza...nice!

  • Beautiful! Veda is Apaurusheya (uncreated). Veda is eternal ever humming within our own transcendental State of pure consciousness. *Nâ Guror Adhikam Tatvam*

  • Sanatan Dharma or Vedic Dharma is the absolute truth, because its not a fanatical religion. Its a guidance for a way of life. Dharma is not religion - Dharma is the righteous path. Its applicable always and does not discriminate between religions or gods. We arya samajis or sanatans believe in all gods and believe in none at the same time as everything comes from the Supreme soul - PARAMATMA - NARAYAN!

  • This richa seems to be on insight about begining of creation a prestine thought

I was facinated by it the first time I read it .The satayan ch rityan ch is part of daily sandhya bhandhan memorised from imemmorial times after upnayana samskar

  • Beautiful. but one wonders why he bothered. Why in heaven did he bother. What was he thinking.

  • @JazzyKat2009 It says : For His Pleasure

  • @JazzyKat2009 Very good question - the first two verses are taken from Nasadiya sukta (sadiya is measure of time, adding Nasadiya means when time was not there) of Rigveda. The verse says that "creation", was a result of desire. You should go through it, the last anuvaka, it ends in a question it will surprise you it goes (kosadhyacha etc). I will let you read it and if you want to discuss send me an email.

  • Es demasiado inspirador, Gracias por publicar el video

  • Hindu was the name given by the muslim invaders who meant to say Sindu. They have 'H' sound and not 'S'.Sanathana dharma is an apt description.

  • this is so cool!

  • Sanatan Dharma is the only truth nothing else and Shiva is the suprem

    Hinduism Rocks

  • @kunalkant2001 first, hinduism is a word created by the british,so vedism or vedantism would be a more suitable word. Second,Shiva, ganesh or Vishnu,it doesn't matter, what matters is brahman.

  • @zoubidochon i dont think it was named by the british but it was called (hindu) by the islamic invaders...

  • @zoubidochon Presently true knowledge of vedas is imparted to brahmin hindu by caste(diwedi, trivedi or chatrvedi) at kashi vishvidyalaya admission at 4 yrs of age and completion at 14 yrs of age. In true form it is in 678 chapters each four vedas. Describes in 60 % of verses/ slokas to worship one god.It says to do "asthang" eight parts to be touched on floor in prayer. But the brahmins have restricted the knowledge of truth to themselves. ITS 100% truth. As described by the acharya of kashi.

  • @bobjindal1 ,

Just a clarification....Each Veda is taught separately......The Yajur Veda has two versions ..... (Krishna/Shukla)....

South Indians Brahmins usually are from Krishna Yajur Veda tradition.....Recitation of Vedic mantras is taught in "Pathsalas".... The meanings/interpretation have been commented by many according to the Sect of HIndusim....& modren HIndus......

Strictly the Vedas means the "sound of Vedas only" & not " the books"......You can learn in in an Arya Samaj kendra...

  • @anant14 Arya Samaj preaches according to their understanding! How can someone who appeared in the 19th century CE know more than Sankaracharya, Ramanuja and other great scholars of the past millenium.

To learn the Vedas, one should follow what those great personalities of the past have written and explained.

It would be naive to presume that Arya Samaj is the sole authority on the Vedas. This is just a mispropaganda on their part.

  • @akhandbha ur absolutely correct brother !

  • @anant14 Strictly the Vedas means the "sound of Vedas only" incorrect. Vedas means KNOWLEDGE only...

  • @bobjindal1 The knowledge of vedas is not restricted to anybody. After all, Vedas define Brahmin as one who has Brahma jigyasa (the quest for knowledge of Brahma). Similarly, Brahmasutra says (Athato Brahma jigyasa). Some of our greatest rishis were not Brahmin by birth e.g. Vyasa was son of fisherwoman, Vishwamitra was Kshtriya, Valmiki was a dacoit. Also, in chandyogya upanishad read the story of satyakama, jabala. I am surprised Kashi Vidyapeeth has this pre-requisite. Are you sure ?

  • @VendPrekmurec

correct except the being was not Rama, he is Vishnu. Rama is the 7th incarnation of Vishnu, who killed King Ravana, a very powerful ruler, who ruled almost half of the world, in his capital Lanka (legend says this is Atlantis) and later Ram became the emperor of the world.

another thing, there is no "Slavic Aryans", just Vedic Aryans.

  • Shiva is the only Almighty after the formless Brahman .

  • @alibinmustafa

look, with all due respect, how dare you call yourself muslim and then worship Abraham, currupted from the main lord of Vedic trinity Brahma and his consort Sarah (corrupted from Saraswati)

leave Vedas alone, you are given in that unseen cult of yours. You study the Vedas deep enough, you will be ashamed of your ancestors who left this knowledge and bliss of the true Aryans and joined a useless cult

  • may humans be united in all aspects, forgetting all evil deeds and jus praying and attaining liberty, meeting the supreme. • thank you, but muslims DO NOT WORSHIP kaaba or any idol.. Kaaba is the oldest mosque of muslims, it was actually built by Abraham. Muslims DO NOT WORSHIP anything except one and only unseen God.

  • Do Muslims bow to and kiss the kaaba stone? Yep. I've seen it. That is worship. Most Christians (catholics and orthodox) do the same thing and kiss icons and crosses and say it is not worship, they say it is "veneration" but it is splitting hairs.

  • @alibinmustafa "Kaaba is the oldest mosque of muslims"

really? sweet! that makes it all the more incredible!

  • Very relaxing and insight opening video...

I don't know why when i listened to the sound for about 10 second I suddenly feel some kind of a trance, it's like when I'm meditating deeply,... its like whole of my body is trembling with energy... it might just be me, but thank you very much for the video and the experience...

    Om Shanti Shanti Shanti...

ps. does this video used somekind of binaurals? and permission to download. ^_^

  • in my language means "Veda" a knowledge, and "sanskrit" means "skrit"; hidden.

  • English word Wit is drived from word veda witch means knowledge.

  • AUM

  • Hindu-Vedic eschatology is the one religious theory of the Origin of Everything(Creation) that is closest to the Dialectic-Scientific understanding of such("Big Bang Theory"-Origin of the Universe, planets,stars-; man's evolution from the "beast", Sir Charles Darwin's theory of Evolution(Humanity's).

  • Does anyone know about DR. Steven Greer's Disclosure Project?

They go out in the desert and recite vedic prayers and manifest orbs of energy and photonic energies. No idea which chant but would be interested in figuring that out.

  • This was wonderful! Thank you so much! I played the video by mistake, but really enjoyed it.

  • Great video. This is should get a Nobel Peace Price.

    OOOOMMMMMM.

    Peace!! Peace!! Peace!!

  • absoulutly amazing and inspirational video...

  • H. F. Westerners (scientists among them) are now fast veering round to consciousness as the ONLY TRUE THREAD THROUGH ALL LIFE AND NON LIFE! But many scientists are too shy to talk of consciousness, having all the time ridiculed it. Now they think that if they stop with energy and particles, they will be out of job soon.

  • Now you know why Shiva is seen as destroyer in Hinduism.

    Kirat=Indo-Mongoloid=Gurkhas

According to Dr Yadubamshi, during the period before the hymns of the Yajuveda had been composed but later than the Rig and Atharvavedic periods, a non-Aryan god was fused with God Rudra. This non-Aryan god, he adds, was worshiped by some tribes in the Himalayan valleys, including the Kiratis. (Shaivamata :The Shaiva Sect)

    check the video

"sakela~the greatest festival of kirat people" in Nepal.

  • Aryah sabjya hai, Satyam vada.

    Nemaste, Cheers.

  • F. What business have we to think that there are no SUPERIOR beings with more than FIVE SENSES which limit our own capability to see truth ? Long ago, Westerners foolishly thought that mass-energy conservation is the ultimate truth. Now they are convinced that energy is not the ultimate thing to explain reality.

  • E. The constant obsession of denominational religions [for Hinduism is not a relkigion in the same sense], with Man and visualizing some Man to be "the" son" or " the Prophet" of God, is due to their incapacity to understand the fundamental truth which is ONLY consciousness which exhibits in innumerable forms and shapes and sizes, and varieties like animate, inanimate, etc.

  • D. However, unless we "discipline" our senses to trasncend time and space constraints which bind us to this visible universe, it is not possible for us to convince ourselves directly on this. Hence we accept the Vedas as unchallengeable authority. and then go on to tame our senses.

  • C. . Man, animal, insec, bird, ... any organic or conscious entity is DIVINE, and all of us are "infinitesimal divine specks". We are divine, and we seek the super Divine!! Some Rishis have said even Jada vastu (inanimate objects like stones, sand, metals, say) are just this selfsame CONSCIOUSNESS in a more dormant state than man, or what in the Vedas is called, Prajnaa (Pragyaan). Vedas as unchallengeable authority.

  • B. Although a recent convert to Hinduism, I know that the quintessential Vedic wisdom (my parents were Hindus who were duped to convert Christianity, which I rejected as too hollow, with no proper balance bet. spiritual and material values). This Vedic truth is the whole universe, spirital or material, is that , fundamentally PURE CONSCIOUSNESS.

  • There are two totally different universes, (a) the material worlds (stars, planets, rotating/ revolving in glaxies, of which there are trillions of trillions), and (b) the spiritual universes. The latter can only be "visualised" subjectively through meditation of the highest order. The material universe is what we can see with naked eye or microscopes and telescopes of various types and powers.

  • Read COSMOS by the great late Carl Sagan, great astronomer with a difference (available in cheap - even pirated - versions) . In that fantastic book, he has cited in English the Vedic parts which bring out the climactic statements about how the universe is still like dream stuff : be it of man or Brahmaa ! When you contemplate on the Vedic statements, deeply enough and with due perseverence (most of us are incapable of that!!), our adoration for the extraordinary Rishis is hightened.

  • Making a rather comprehensive comments, also as remarks after reading those alread made. Evolution is very much true, but has been misunderstood by both Xian clergy, Vedic scholars and scientists. In the Vedic tradition, our Puraanas have clearly hinted at evolution through the Dasha-avatars (from Matsya or fish to amphibious Koorma or tortoise, then Varaah (boar), half man half animal (Narasimha), dwarf (Vaaman), then full fledged human avatars.

  • Thanks, please post more. Adarniya Ved ko pranam!

  • Does this conflict with evolution theory? The vastness of space and the possibility of evolution don't seem feasible.

  • I can understand at least 300 words from sanskrit. Slovenian language has many similarities with old sanskrit (skrit-hidden?), Veda - Veda = knowledge, agni(ogenj-fire), krishna(kresnik), shiva(ziva), desh(deshela), stan(stan), gudjat(gucati - to speak), nirvana(mir vana), gorovath(gorovnat), our ancestors came in (V)india with aryans(rja; noble, rust) 2000 y.BC in Punjab. THIS HYMNS FROM THE VEDAS IS VERY CLOSE TO OUR PAGAN AND AZTEC LEGEND ABOUT CREATION OF THE UNIVERSE!

  • Words like pagan, heathen, infidel, etc. are "creations" of the intolerant and often violent Christian missionaries, Evangelicals, in their vile propaganda against other religions with the mere motive to enlist more "nominal' members for Christianity.

  • texts please

  • The background voice reciting the vedic shlokas and suktas is Brahmasri Narendra Kapre, my Guru.

I am fortunate to be his student, learning Rg Veda from him.

  • How bless are you.. WOW. Jai Guru Dev!

  • @yadbhavishya Kapreji is also my guru. He is one of the most learned person that one can come across.

  • ||DIVINE||

    Thanks.

  • beautiful!

  • great video thanks.

  • What a beautiful video by the inspiration of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba!!!! Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.

  • awsome and astonoshing

this is the way to spread message

  • wonderful video.

  • My dear brothers I feel sad to read words written to compare others religions all have a parts to play in a moderate ways and Vedas are for the love of all mankind not for a particular people . It is a knowledge of SELF . Peace Peace Peace

  • Yes, It is love for all mankind, but only one group of people are allowed to recite it for one reason.

Have you ever played the telephone game? It's when you have a long line of maybe 20 people and you give one of them a statement, and by the time it comes to the last person, it changed completely. So this is why Brahmins recite the Vedas. However you may study them and speak the meaning all you want without distorting them.

  • can you help me understan sanata dharma please just the basics ore somebody please i being searching and buying books and vides and still dosent ask the question please help

  • What is the question, i try to learn about Gods eternal truth from the bhagvad Geeta. The actual words of god himself.

  • sanata dharma is the religion of sant (monk) ... vedas r the spiritual experiences of these sants at different times .. please read swami vivekanada for lot more info in simplest of words .. hope i was helpful .. thanks

  • There are millions of ways in Sanatana Dharma... Which one you prefer... There are several path like Dvaita (Duality), Advaita (Non-Duality), Vishistadvaita, Aghora (Extreme Tantra), Charvaka (Atheistic), Sankhya, Meditative (Yoga), and also like Shaiva, Vaishnava, Shakta, Ganapata... And then there are Rigvedis, Yajurvedis, Samavedis...

None of them contradict on the final goal. All (except Charvaka) agrees with Veda. Dvaita may contradict Advaita.. But Nothing contradicts the vedas..

  • THere are thousands of Puranas, 100s of Upanishads, and many itihasas (like Ramayana and Mahabharata)..

One life time is not enough.. You can select your path which ever you are comfortable with and proceed on that direction...

  • There is so much philosophy and literature behind Sanatan Dharma, how much of it is preserved in original form noone knows, but as mentioned by others main literature is Vedas, Upnishads, and Bhagwat Gita. There are epics Ramayana and Mahabahrata which tell you how society can be or is. Then there are Shaivism philosphies, some of which are Tantrik Shaivism. There is lot of it to know. I would suggest you to go to google and type "western hindu" , open the first link there.

  • It is a blog and helps westerners to know more about it and meet right people to know more. It is very necessary that we meet right people.

  • Wonderful video. Thanks for uploading.

Vedas, Upanishads and other Hindu texts were composed thousands of years back in India when the other parts of the world was dwelling in darkness and people there lived like animals. These scriptures are the eternal truth and nobody can deny that.

  • You are correct. Man was but an animal until Divine knowledge was given. Once it was given to us, we started to do Havan and use Agni Devata In science it is shown that man only progressed on this planet after the discovery of fire which was given to us by the Vedas.

  • I think a lot of people here missed one very important piece of knowledge about Vedic history - it was transferred for thousands of years via oral recitation through Gurukuls. The only reason Vedas were made into book form was to preserve the knowledge, otherwise it was considered almost blasphemous to put holy words in written form for it could be destroyed, dirtied & disrespected. True Vedic knowledge requires fluency in Vedic Sanskrit and training in Gurukuls.

  • You are absolutely correct.

Before Sanskrit or any other language had a written form, It was only recited and kept only by one group of people. This why it was not distorted or changed even slightly.

Even today you will rarely find Vedas written on paper unless you have one passed down for generations, or thoroughly search for them.

  • A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada translated some of the Vedic to the English language.

  • That is not the reason - the reason is that vedic sanskrit is chanted with intonations (uddata, anuddata, swarita etc.). The only way to learn intonation is orally. Once Panini formalised the rules of vedic grammar, vedas could be written with the intonations. However, even then one had to go to a guru for learning because even though it's written only a guru can teach you how to chant it properly.

  • Excellent video ...

Very well done ...reminds me of the time we used to have these hymns recitation at our homes in front of the fire altar and those ahutiyaan..

proud to be born in the land of such great souls.

  • Proud to be born in the place where vedas originated!!!Wonderful video..

  • all of us are.

but if you are referring to where most of it was revealed, then you are referring to Tajikistan.

  • (rkrc) From where did you get this knoledge, dont talk about thing you dont know,

  • :)

You are correct, We should never speak ignorantly about things we don't know.

The Rig Veda was heard by those in deep meditative state. In Northern India/Tajikistan.

What is the problem? I'm a Brahmin

    Pancha Gauda

    Kanyakubja

    Saryupareen Brahmin

    Bharadwaja Gotra-Garga Gotra

    Pravara: Angirasa, Barhaspatya, Bharadvaja, Gargya

I have knowledge of the Vedas. Men were not considered animals first in India/Tajikistan were they were given Divine knowledge through the Vedas.

  • Well, most of what is written in vedas and mahabharatha hapens around Indian subcontinent, where did Tajikistan come from?

  • very good, wish hindus would follow there holy books, i disagree with idol worship, but respect there holy books, God bless

  • you don't get it.. not everybody is the same.. abrahamic faiths (judaism, christianity, islam) all have a "one-size fits all" approach and that's why it is always in conflict. Hinduism appeals to people of all levels, walks of life. The "rituals" are for people who are very devotional.. intellectual people follow the scriptures, and real seekers of truth PRACTICE (Sadhana) to REALIZE the truth. This is why Hinduism (Sanatana Dharma) is called the TIMELESS ORDER!

  • Nobody worships idols. They may worship God THROUGH a murti, but the object of worship is always God. In the same way, Muslims aren't worshiping the rug they prostrate themselves on, it's just a tool used to worship God.

    Salaam

  • Better put then anything i could have replied, Thanks.

  • well, in a way they do worship idols, even though they do not call it worship. They make offerings to the murtis and to lingas. In My own eyes it is wrong, but I can see and agree that it helps them focus on their "personal" form of god. Everyone has their own path, own way of seeing and own way of loving god and god IS in everything. Namaste. Om Shanti Shanti.

  • I was thinking the same thing. At the end they say worship him etc but earlier if you think about who him is. the were talking about him just being consciousness, so him its just another symbol or ideal for the physical idea of him. but if you think of what him is you see they are worshipping their own consciousness

  • When they said him at the end, it wasn't written in the Vedas, the priest just added that commentary at the end. "come one come all... etc"

However, Consciousness will lead you to Moksha which will allow you to be one with God. Atman (soul) becomes part of Brahman (God).

just as the rivers all have different names, when they merge with the sea all names are lost and they all become one. They melt all attachments including ego and fame. Then you will be one with God.

  • you are right!

  • same way God is no doubt omnipresent, but for uz to achieve tat high degree of concentration we hav to enclose te eternal being to a limited entity..tatz y we Idol worship..newayz gud to see an unbiased moslim say nice things bout Hinduism..keep up..!

  • You islamic fundamentalist always worried about as to why we, Hindus pray so many gods and goddesses. Better you stay in your faith and we, Hindus would in ours. There is no second but only ONE GOD & we pray HIM through many idols each characterized by different sets of virtues. This is to derive material benefits. So we praise virtues. Virtues praised thus flow-in us. Afterall, GOD is "Mine of Infinite Virtues". How do we praise all infinite virtues in one prayer or even many in one lifetime!!

  • Brother the problem with islam and muslims is that they have the "greater than thou" mentality just like christians. Their religion is still in its infancy and they are still at the barbaric stage of their religion. Our Hindu dharma has developed and progressed over thousands and thousands of years with so much knowledge, how can they compete? Thats why the feel the need to talk about idols and focus on such things, without bothering to really try to understand the reality behind our religion.

  • Statues are merely symbols, every Hindu will tell you there is only one supreme being, but many different facets to him. even muslims venerate the Kaba. These are all symbols of God. What you call water, another calls paani, or jal, but the element is the same.

  • actually muslim do worship idol have you ever heard of the black kaba it is a lingam

  • thank you, muslims STRICTLY DO NOT worship Kaaba.. muslims STRICTLY DO NOT worship idols.. Kaaba is the Oldest Mosque of muslims, actually Abraham had built this mosque by the order of God, to be a mosque. Muslims worship the one and only unseen God of all humans, and having any idols or symbol for Him is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Peace!

  • Incredible VIDEO!

  • This is called nAsadeeya sUktha

Rg veda (10:129) Also part of Yajur veda.

  • you can';t just recite the english version of the vedas. They require a proper intonation and have to be deliberated upon. It is't something you do for a couple minutes each day. Thats disrespect. A conscious effort has to be made to recite them as accurately as possible.

  • But if it's in a language you don't understand, and it's not translated into one you do, then it's just mindless noise. Isn't that far more disrespectful than recitation in another language?

  • What are you speaking about? This video is just beautiful chanting of very famous Sanskrit passages in verse and prose along with english translation, some interpretations and nice pictures. If you don't know Sanskrit or you can't enjoy divine sound vibrations along with nice views it is just your problem. Thanks again for people who gave this video for us.

  • Perhaps the text translation would be helpful , as the interspersed translation breaks the blissful rhythm of the speech ; the music works with the english , but the sound of the chanting is better pure, sounds reverberating in silence , silence reverberating in sound.

  • Thanks for this video! Sanskrit text of this video see at livejournal (com) at nata-neti page

  • Just listen to the sound vibration from that divine chanting. Its eternal.

  • what book of the rig veda and what hyme is this from?

  • Rg Veda (i.e. 1st Veda) 10th book

  • I didn't find it in the 10th book. Can you please tell me the name of this mantra? Or Adeine could add it to the video description. Thanks all.

  • 10th mandala

  • This is the nAsadEya sUkta in the Rig Veda, 10th Mandala, hymn 129. This is credited to Brahmarishi Vishwamitra, whom the Gayatri Mantra is also credited.

  • Thanks for this great video.

  • TRANSLATION

O mighty conqueror of enemies, there is no end to My divine manifestations. What I have spoken to you is but a mere indication of My infinite opulences.

    PURPORT

As stated in the Vedic literature, although the opulences and energies of the Supreme are understood in various ways, there is no limit to such opulences; therefore not all the opulences and energies can be explained. Simply a few examples are being described to Arjuna to pacify his inquisitiveness.

    Bg10.41

  • if only it had the english text of the sanskrit words... i would love to recite this

  • look up the RIG VEDA

  • THis video is splendid. Jai Shri Krishna

  • Where specifically is this from ? I am new to Hinduism and wish dearly to learn more of it.

  • Hinduisms is like a jungle full of vines. There are many way to approach and study it. Hinduism is very scientific, explains evolutionary energy in man called kundalini, law of karma and is mathematical-quantum theory. Nature is also very diverse. Too completely define GOD is to CONFINE GOD into prison. Dogma precludes religious progress. A mere human being could hardly describe GOD the creator. Ascetics who are lucky to even have a glimpse of GOD or heaven faint at the divine sight.

  • which verses are these and of which vedic book? I cant make out the text in the video

  • The verses are taken from Rig & Krishna Yajur Veda. Read my post (a few posts ago) on which verse is taken from where.

  • Jai Shree Krsna says those who worship the demi-gods sees the demi-gods as the Ultimate Truth, so wake up all you sai baba followers and follow the rightous path of Shree Krsna

  • how are the five values of satya dharma shanti prema and ahimsa that sai baba advocates unrightous?

  • This is Pandit Kapreji chanting.

First two anuvakas are from Nasadiya suktam.

Next two anuvakas are from Aitareya upanishad.

Following two anuvakas are from Brahmanand valli of Taittiriya upanishad.

These are followed by two anuvakas from Mahanarayano upanishad.

  • Again two anuvakas from Aitareya upanishad.

These are followed by two verses from Shankaracharya

The video ends with a shanti mantra from aitareya upanishad.

  • Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    Sai Ram!

  • can you give me a website or some type of reference where i can read these sanskrit verses?

  • You can see Sanskrit text of this video at livejournal (com) at nata-neti page

  • Google for sanskrit documents, you can find all the documents that one would ever need.

  • Thank you so much. I wish the text would be more clear, but very good still. Thanks for uploading.

  • wow!this is very difficult to understand..so everything starts from brahman?

  • actually, everything IS Brahman. There is NOTHING else that has absolute reality. Meaning, Brahmin is infinite, timeless, perennial. AHAM BRAHMASMI ("I AM BRAHMAN!") and TAT TVAM ASI ("Thou are that!") sums up Hinduism!!

  • That Sums up Advaita in Hinduism... Hinduism is much more vast... Read about Dvaita.. And then about Vishistadvaita.... Then there are philosophies like Mimamsa, Agora, Sankhya, Charvaka (Atheistic), .... and 100000s such... All agree on the same 3-4 Vedas... Though vast, Nothing contradicts each other - instead complements... Dvaita may contradict Advaita, but Nothing contradicts the vedas... One birth is not enough to learn about Hinduism... This is vast!!!!! really vast !!!!

  • a wonderful vedio. thanks for posting this.

  • Om Namah Shivaya

Perfect video. May Shiva shed His blessings upon all and bless us all with Knowledge.

  • GREAT VIDEO.

  • THANK YOU

    LOVE & LIGHT
