..still again, can't go into the clock without stopping, at 4:22 you don't know where you should walk, at 4:24 you dont hit the star + clock thing, then the red coins: 4:52 - 5:12 always parts where you stand still (overall maybe 3 seconds) 5:28 can't go into hole, 5:40 you're just standing, at 5:51 you're climbing altough you're on top, 5:54 you're just standing just like at 5:57 and 6:03 And you call that a world record? Overall you could save 4 mins.! Call me a hater, but that's the truth.

Honestly: At 1:05 you run against a wall, at 1:17 you're standing still for 0.1 seconds, at 1:38 youre doing an useless stamping and stand still for 0.4 seconds, same at 1:44 just with 0.5 seconds, at 2:12 you stand still for 0.2 seconds at 2:32 you have to hold yourself at a thing where you dont have to hold yourself at 2:48 YOU'RE RUNNING AGAINST A GOOMBA at 2:57 you're standing still for 0.1 seconds again and after you cant go into the clock without stopping again, at 3:38 you're standing...

You haven't played the game at all according to some of your comments:

For starters, this isn't a TAS run and it was made before DS capture devices were more accessible to everyone, I had to play it in a awkward position.

1:17 was a scripted action, so I couldn't control him.

1:38 is not useless stomping, it's a game that has awful precision controls compared to the N64.

2:12, the game freezes asking me to save & continue, save & quit, continue without saving.

2:48 ok that's an error but D-pad controls limit's Mario to 8 directions.

2:57, that's to make sure Luigi is crouching otherwise he could just perform a regular jump, costing me even more time..

3:38, very picky to criticise there.

4:22 Again, D-pad controls makes it hard to move the character at a precise angle.

Honestly most of these comments are mainly because of the inferior control mechanics compared to the original.

If I used an Emulator this whole run wouldn't be a World Record. I used a real DS. To sort out the blurry image issue you got to sort out your camera's (manual) focus. Setting it to Auto focus is a no no.

Is that Tick Tock clock you are on about?

Theres the Star by the Thrwom but that one is too high, the silver stars are too random and the 100 coin star works well when getting the Thwomp star.

For Rainbow Ride, there are some stars that are easier to get as Luigi as he can obtain 2 stars really quickly with his backflip.

Enter the level when the Big hand is on either 11, 12 or 1.

i just noticed that mario says 'yahoo' too much in this version. 'yahoo' is supposed to be only for the long jump. and half the triple jumps. not all the wall kicks and when he jumps off a pole. then i wonder why i hated this game. this and the new characters kinda ruin it. i like the 96 one better mostly. 'cept for the graphics. i liked the caps, not 3 characters and a flower.

but you hold a world record. sweet. must be because no one else tried with this version. lol

During Bowser battles, Mario doesn't even say "So Long King Bowser". Nor he even says "Press Start to play" during the title screen.

The main reason why I hold the world record is because not many people can use a camera effectively (and Nintendo is stupid for not releasing Capture Device equipment for direct recording).
