  • I saw Mick the Quick hit the first inside the park HR of the newly renovated Yankee Stadium. It was against The Rangers.

    He pulls one into the corner in right, switches to turbo f---kng thrust and lets loose over those bases like no man ever could. I was at loge level, 3rd base side and heard the "WHOOOOOSH!!!" as he tore by.

    Not before and never since have I seen a person go that fast on foot in person. The man is a legend.

  • This was one of the nicer moments in the Series... the light-hearted, everyday goings-on of the club. Do you have the Berra/Rivers conversation about Jesus? "Do Baptists got Jesus?"
