  • ;:S your fingers :S

  • hey did you record this? it sounds so pure.. audio by the camera or a line output?

  • Wow ! /:)

  • esos dedos son tuyos o te los an dejado? :O

  • not perfect

  • noto ke hai appoggiato gentilmente il tuo np30 sulla tastiera del computer! XD

  • soo wonderful... great job.

  • What model of piano is it? Please it sounds wonderfully well and I want to buy

  • @9Luthien6 yamaha np30 i have it! :D

  • very well done :)

  • this isn't the np30 sound... but very good execution

  • i have a question... Does it sound louder if you hit the keys harder?

  • @Lance1621

I dont own an np-30 but yes, they do.

Can't you hear it in this video?

  • You are so talented! ! :)))

  • wow is all im going to say... and im not ever a ff fan

  • are you using Yamaha NP30?

  • Can u tell where u got the song from? I mean the piano sheet.. can somebody send me the piano sheet?

  • beautiful fíngers :)

I don´t know the piece - but your play sounds very nice :)

  • its that the real grand piano sound of the np-30 ? or did u used midi output to fl studio or something like that¿

  • man, your hands are like spiders lol

    very awesome playing

  • Beautiful

  • I love this music :'(

  • Guys, is than a np30 ? wanna buy it

  • excuse me my friend you play the keyboard with an amplifier? or with the keyboard speakers, or you record the sound in the computer? Thanks for your answer.

  • amazin

  • kannst du bitte ein tutorial machen?? du spielst das so hammer geil..!!!

can you make a tutorial please?? you play very very very very good.! its sooo wonderful (sorry for my englisch)

  • @laraecht Er ist schön ein tutorial gemacht durch gotitans999. Suche für sein channel.

  • @laraecht You spelled english wrong. But pretty good for someone who doesnt speek it.Hahaha and I love this song too.

  • you're missing a few notes at the beginning

  • Thumbs up for the long fingers man !

  • Your fingers........

  • wow, amazing! You played it just like the game. Brought back so many memories from 2001. I salute your performance. 10/10!

  • Excuse. Do you know if it is possible to connect this keyboard to an amplifier or Bussines? (sorry for my bad inglish) Great song i loved.

  • @Ossmaby I honestly don't know, since I've never used an amplifier before. There's only a headphone output and a pedal output though.

  • @Ossmaby u can! i have an eagletone keyboard 35 watt amp with my np 30 since I kinda don't like the sound on the right speaker!!

  • @Ossmaby Yes, you can hook it up to an amp.

  • @Ossmaby Yes it's very possible!

  • Beautifully played.. excellent my friend... question.. do you find that the keys are a bit too light?

When I play my hard in practices I tend to hit all the other keys aswell

  • Yeah, a disadvantage of these keys is that they're not weighted and are a little bit small.

  • Could you please give me the sheet music?? I mean your version, not the original version which you gave on the forum. Or just give me the link, I try to find it for myself.. It's very helpful if you gave me the sheets music...

  • There are no sheets for this version, but you can follow gotitans999's tutorial on how to play this version. Just search on YouTube for "gotitans999 to zanarkand tutorial" and look for his video.

  • True talent.

  • wat r the setting on your piano, i setted mines to grand piano 1 and it sounds different.

  • It's just Grand Piano 1. The sound is different, because my recording equipment isn't great.

  • i love this song and im a metal head, seriously my band is doing a cover of otherworld

  • The music of Final Fantasy is always beautiful, but the soundtrack to FF10 was truly exceptional. To Zanarkand never fails to give me goosebumps- well done, man.

  • Stunning, well done.

Weird fingers tho, like an aliens.

  • i agree with 9angel6 ... the rest is awesommeee tho

  • @shgfe3ay

Really? I actually thought that personal touch was quite nice lol. I know I'm commenting again Retduty, though this is my favourite rendition on Youtube. Mostly because of the start up notes, if you hit too hard on that E chord for the right hand, it feels like sharp pricks in my ear however you play it softly. To me that makes the experience as a whole sound that but more enjoyable idk... I'm probably not making any sense now xD

  • omg!! more than wounderful!!

  • amazing work, i give u kudos for ur amazing piano talents haha

  • what do you tihink about the kkeys. lack of weight annoying D:?

  • It's only annoying when you have to play on a weighted keyboard or on a real piano, while you learn everything on the NP-30.

The keys are also a bit smaller than real piano keys.

  • are you using a keyboard amp?

  • No, I'm just using a midi-cable and a midi editor on my computer called Mixcraft.

At the time I recorded this video, however, I hadn't got those things yet, so I just plugged in an audio-cable from the Mic-In of my computer to the Headphones-Out of my keyboard.

  • Good Song !

  • beautifulllllllllllll :)

  • good job , this song rocks !

  • 2:16 why are you playing it that way?

The rest is beautiful, good job :)

  • i love this song so much lol ff10 for lyf

  • this is the best sound and best person playing this wonderful song =)

    from 1 to 10 you get 12 !

  • I'd give him 10 :)

  • @mr49000 orly? Check out Lypur's "epic" version.

  • long fingers can be a plus when playing the piano, regardless this performer plays this piece beautifully, 5/5

  • Hoe vind je de toetsen? Voelen ze net zo aan als op een piano? Of iets minder zwaar?

  • You have incredibly long fingers lol

  • I do too. I have pianists fingers and play the guitar. My mate has guitarists arms and plays the piano

  • alto teclado midi

  • hey dude can you play this with 61 keys ?

  • No. You'll need at least 76 keys to play this song or you'll have to change the song a little bit.

  • how do you find the action on the keys?

  • What do you mean with action?

  • lol yeah.. i noticed it too.

  • this song..brought tears to my eyes....

  • damn your fingers are fucking long!

  • @Squall7721 The best piano players have long fingers it definitely makes it easier to reach keys in some of the more difficult cords.

I remember when I was a little girl someone took my hands in theirs and started examining my fingers, commenting about how long they were. I found it odd but they explained that my hands were perfect for the piano. Since then I have been playing the piano passionately with ease!

  • Can you play Classical song by this Yamaha NP30? Are 76 keys enough?

  • I don't really have experience with classical songs, but 76 keys are enough for all the songs I've played so far. You can transpose/shift the keys up and down.

  • Echt prachtig gespeeld!

  • sounds EXACTLy like the game. good jawb

  • very fine:),,,and very fine piano, I am considering to buy the same:),,,and I am envious of your long fingers!:D,,,

  • :*) gj

  • piano have gentler sound than guitar... i love it ^_^

  • Well played! I don't like the piano collections version and over half of zanarkand piano versions are played like that, in youtube. =_=' I like original better. :) I want to hear this agaaain~ -watches video-

  • Comment removed

  • this song always makes me cry...

  • Heel goed! echt nice gespeeld.

  • Bedankt man. Gewoon blijven proberen. ^^

  • well well i speak japanese....... well like 2 words XD

  • Haha, sometimes I really wish that I could speak/read Japanese. It would make the animes and drama movies much more fun. xD

  • Great!

  • I love Final Fantasy and I love your playing!

  • Hey there! I've not commented on this video in a while. I have that piano now. Though I was wondering, do you use a pedal? I'm thinking of getting one but the best I could find that suits me is about £40-£50 (UK) Its the FC3 foot pedal.

  • I use the Roland DP-8 pedal. It was just €25,- at my place and it works just fine except for one little thing.

There's a switch on the side of the pedal to choose what type of pedal behavior you want. I can only use one of the two options, but that doesn't matter, because the pedal still acts as a real piano. The other option is called the Half Pedal Function.

You don't have to buy an expensive pedal. Just look for one with the right plug/cable, which goes into your piano.

  • Really? I thought it had to be foot pedals that only suited the make of the piano/keyboard. Thanks for letting me know. As 25 Euro's surely can't be more than a £50 here lmao!

It's just that without a foot pedal it makes things sounds a bit detached... or some similar word O_o The FC3 has a switch too, it's to change it from standard to emotional, or something along those lines. All I'd be glad at is to get some sustain on my NP30 lol!

    Thanks again (...again lol)!

  • excellent :D

  • You certainly got some talent there boy, start as a piano teacher, you could really make some money out of it! But i was going to buy this keyboard, but i wanted to know if it comes with an ac adapter, cause there's some people who says that it isn't included. I would really love to know that for sure, so i don't buy a keyboard and then isn't able to play. Sorry to come with this question like if i didn't watch your video, but i did, and wanted the keyboard even more after hearing your playing.

  • Thank you, but I don't have the intention of becoming a teacher xD

I bought this keyboard WITHOUT the adapter. I had to buy it seperatly from the keyboard. Good luck with finding a good keyboard and buying one. ^^

  • Ok, thanks for the information and the luck! I'll maybe buy this one and get the ac adapter.

  • This song is just so beautiful :) you have the Yamaha NP-30, right? Unless you want to advise me otherwise, (please do if its a bad keyboard) I think your great video has swayed me to get this keyboard. I've been contemplating for MONTHS UPON MONTHS on the right keyboard to get. I'm just starting out and I want my first keyboard to be decent :) But now thanks to you, I think I've found my match. You really are great, there's so much emotion!

  • Your comment made me smile. I'm glad that this video has helped you with finding the right keyboard. You made a good choice. The only thing I dislike of this keyboard is that it hasn't got weighted keys, but just velocity-sensitive keys. The sound is just awesome. The actual sound of the keybaord is waaaay better than the sound of this video.

I hope that this keyboard will statify you as it does with me ^^

  • omg thats bril, iv been tring to play that for ages

  • i can play gotitans99 version and Piano collections version LOL. good job

  • lol not being mean, but your hands are very feminine looking.

    Lovely playing btw.

  • I really like your performance here matey ; ). Good job!

I own the same piano as you do, you were one of the main factors who influenced me to buy THIS piano instead the other ones, and I'm really impressed by the awesome sound quality it has (I use it with my guitar amp).

Oh and BIG thanks for the Sheet music link you provided, lots of useful thing there.

  • Thank you very much. It's really a great piano, isn't it? I'm glad that some of my videos mean something to others and help them. ^^

  • It does for sure matey. Thanks again!

  • Is this sound coming from the NP-30 speakers or are you plugged into another sound system? You said this video had poor sound quality but it sounds pretty good to me! :o)

  • I plugged an audiocable from my Headphones-OUT of my piano to the Mic-IN of my PC.

I call it a poor sound quality, because the original sound of the NP-30 (the sound coming from the speakers) is waaaay better than the soundquality of this video.

  • i have never wanted to play ff ever so much EVER!!! CLASS

  • excellent

  • im thinking about getting this myself. Does it come with, or is compatible with a footpedal?

  • I don't quite understand what you're asking, but I'll try to answer you.

You can connect a "footpedal" to this keyboard, but you'll have to buy it seperately.

  • That's what i was asking. :)

    Thanks.

  • how much money cost these piano?

  • I've bought it for 280 euro, I think.

  • thank you!!

  • I've heard the keys are semi-weighted on the np30. Is this true? Or is there no resistance at all? Thanks in advance to anybody who answers.

  • There is no resistance. They're only touch-sensitive and there are also levels of sensitivity from which you can choose.

  • Thanks for your answer. Do you think it makes much difference whether or not the keys are weighted? I was thinking about buying it but im not sure. I really appreciate you help.

  • Yes, it does. I only bought this keyboard, because it was cheap and had 76 keys. I don't regret from buying it, but I really wish I had a keyboard with weighted keys.

When you you use to play on a unweighted keyboard, you will have some difficulties with playing on a weighted keyboard or real piano. If you're going to buy a keyboard, buy one with at least 76 keys, which you can transpose, and if you're good funded, a keyboard with weighted keys too.

  • Thank you.

I think ill get this because i dont have that much money to spend. It has a very nice sound for a 300$ piano though. Does it sound that good through the stereo speakers?

  • The sound quality of this video is very poor compared to the real sound of the NP-30 :)

    So it sounds even better.

  • This is the piano i want to get for my birthday. How much are you loving it?

Very nice job on the song too ;D

  • Excellent 5/5. Love the piano.

  • I'm buying this piano forsure :)

  • Tio, eres un crack, muy bonita...

  • hiya, very nice playing!

are the keys velocity-sensitive? i know the keys are not weighted, but i have no idea what "touch graded keys" means.

  • I don't don't know what Velocity-Sensitive means, but the keys are sensitive to your touch if you that is what you mean. You can play soft and hard by prssing the keys softer and harder. There's also an option which allows you to change the sensitivity of the keys. I hope that this is what you wanted to know.

  • Thanks for your reply! yes, by playing softer or harder --> that's velocity-sensitive. I think i might buy this one now :D

  • you rawwk!

  • OMG ♥

this is my favorite Final Fantasy song.

can u plz make a tutorial??

    plz plz plz

  • One last question...

Does the NP-30 have more than just a grand piano? If not then this definatly isn't for me though it has a brilliant piano sound.

  • It also has got a second Grand Piano, 2 electronic pianos, 2 organs, 1 strings, 2 harpichords and 1 vibraphone.

  • Wow, for an Electric Piano thats really good!

And if you can layer them together I'll probably buy this as I like Piano Strings ALOT. I use it for most of my excerpts... which happen to be of the depressing kind lol!

  • You can layer 2 voices at once.

  • Well whadda ya know! i think I'll be getting the NP30 hehe! Thank you very much for the informatin btw. It's proved most useful!

  • This is really good n_n I've been thinking of purchasing a synth or electric piano soon and was wondering, how do you find the NP30? It sounds brilliant but I'm not sure lol!

I really REALLY liked this btw! Your very skilled! Loved how you made use of louds and softs and how you played your chords =D

  • The only thing I don't like of the NP-30 is that it hasn't got weighted keys but touch graded keys. But overall it is a good (and cheap) keyboard.

  • Yeah, I saw it at around £200 or so. I have been thinking about the NP-30 though I may even go for a Yamaha PSR-£413 (also £200). I would go for the synthesiser MM6 but it's just stretching it twice as far as I hoped (£400 lol!).

Anywho thank you for getting back to me as soon as you did. There is no rush but it's good to know that you are an active user (or however other folk call it) hehe!

  • How will I ever learn to play like that? X D Hey.... do you ever even use the notes and what not? To learn atleast and stuff? Uhhhh.... can you read them? Nevermind, I am sorry. I am just wondering if notes are ever even useful to advanced piano players. X D

  • I learned the very basics of reading notes at my school and improved it at home. Now I prefer using a sheet music than learning from a video. If you're a musician, you really should learn to read notes, because you can't always count on (video)tutorials. Many songs don't have tutorials, but almost every song has a sheet music.

  • Very good and I also learned this piece thanks Gotitans I give you 5 stars

  • sei bravissimo!!!

  • did you connect it to midi to record sound because its really clear.

  • amazing!

  • That song is so beautiful. After listening to this I went on Amazon and bought some final fantasy games :) I'm 14 years old and I would really like to learn to play piano, but my mom just spent a lot of money recently buying me a saxophone and clarinet, so she cannot pay for lessons nor a keyboard. I could save up the money in about four months because my birthday is coming up, but do you think I could teach myself to play piano?

  • Yes you can teach yourself to play piano, in fact there are some really nice guys here on youtube that can teach you (search for their video lessons). Also there are many sites where you can watch video lessons for free. All you need is motivation and patience! Good Luck

  • beautiful but too fast i think

  • No disrespect but is this the cheap Yamaha NP 30? or is the portable grand version something different i am asking because i want to buy my first piano.

Appreciated if someone could answer my question.

    Anyway played beautifully.

  • Yes, it's the NP-30. It can also be called NP-30 Portable Grand.

  • Aah thanks have to check out feedback soon ;)

  • Very beautiful 5/5 stars.

  • beautiful, i have the mp3 version in my player.

i just think you shouldn't play the first octave so hard after 2:15

  • how did you record the audio? it sounds very nice.

  • I plugged in a cable from my Headphones-Out of my Piano to the Microfon-In of my computer, so my computer recognized it as a Microfon.

  • nice music...nice job.. R U using an Casio cdp 100 or Yamaha np30 ?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks

    ciao

    Lorenzo

  • Yamaha NP-30 Portable Grand

  • How long have you had it, and do you recomend it for someone that just started playing. ?

    good job btw, awesome skills.

  • - To georgi2hotty:

I would defenitly recommend it, however if you have more money to spend out, look for a better one because there really are better pianos than this one. The sad thing about this piano is that it hasn't got weighted keys, but they are only touch sensitive.

  • Nice job! I really enjoy that song.

I'm no piano player, but I thought you played it very well. And your hand movements are really graceful.

    CMA

  • Heya, you played beautifully, but one thing my piano instructors were strict on is bending your fingers at and keeping your wrists up. When you play with your wrists low and your fingers straight, it makes it harder to play finer dynamics.

  • Thanks for the tip. I don't know any of those tips and tricks since I learn everything by myself. Also my keyboard is a little bit to high so keeping my wrists up is kinda annoying. I can't make it stand good.

  • Make you seat higher =) heheh. If the paino is too high, you will eventually notice your wrists getting very sore. May lead to carpal tunnel! Not good! You have good hand structure for playing piano, might as well use them for maximum effect!

  • i have the same keyboard. i experience a bzzzzzzzz on very high frequency. i cut it out by using an equalizer and cutting of after 10000khz (?) and beyond. look at my profile to take a look at the sound of mine. i used reverb + equalizer then rendered it to mp3.

at vid: nice playing =) i'll learn this too =) keep on rocking the np-30 ^^

  • It isn't one of the last ones... I think it is one of the first... Isn't it Retduty, and I think he's good too.. :-) Nice quality, only sometimes it shakes a bit...

  • Really nice ^__^ if this is one of the first songs you've learned, then.. you're good :P

The piano sounds awesome btw, I'm going to get the exact same in a few weeks. Do you have any bad experiences with it?

  • Many people say that they're having problems with the sound. They're complaining that you can hear some small noise when you play some notes, however I didn't experienced any problems with mine.

The only bad thing I can think of this piano is that it hasn't got weighted keys. But it has a nice sound for such a low price.

But if you have more money to spend I would recommend a better one (maybe the Casio Privia). This video might help you choose:
