She's 10 now and Bieber and Cyrus are already in her rear view mirror. She's as enchanting and beautiful a person as they come. This highly intelligent and extremely gifted young girl continues to hone her craft and she has beauty and style all her own. This is one reason Connie never took singing lessons. Connie is truly in a class all by herself. I'm so blessed to be able to see and hear her sing. She brings pure joy to so many people. She and her family deserve no less.

One thing that also impresses me it the incredibly excellent backup she gets from all the musicians in every cut. The punctuation of the singers, the bass, organ, guitar, and all. You can hear the respect they bring to it. This is no minor little stab at music by a child, but the enterprise for a superlative ARTIST. They all deserve the highest admiration. Well of course, jablip, this song is seasonal in nature, so is not played as much at other times of the year. I will be interested to hear the new Christmas album released October 13. I agree that it is excellent, however. I take it as a preview to other styles that Connie will introduce in her performances. Her flexibility is probably underestimated by casual observers, but not by us Connie fans, right? LOL!

I only noticed the opening verse or so of the song itself was a bit on the low side, compared to the rest of Connie's repertoire. But she reached down and aced it anyway, and took off from there to really dazzle big time!! It's becoming a habit with her...
