@shakeexon That's a big question. You know "Big Oil" squelches businesses and patents that help save and use less petroleum? We're all dependent on oil because the system allows it. It's not the fault of ordinary citizens that's we need the oil and are broke. If you haven't seen the documentary "Thrive", then check it out. They took it off Youtube but you can still watch it online if you Google search for it.

@saintearth Yes ,Tis true.. the gov knows that If the U.S. used 6% of it's land for hemp cultivation it could be oil independent , that old technology works perfectly well, what to speak of new technologies.. it is sickening to think of how we are being manipulated by vested interests .. Thanks for the "thrive" tip I'll check it out ..am inspired to wright a protest song "Sick an tired of ya toxic pollution time for a green revolution don't ya know the wind it blows for freeee"..lol all da best
