Presumably, it is deeply insulting to Hirasawa, people likening him Hitler; possibly, it is Germanocentric to presume that every raised arm must necessarily refer to Germany and a certain pathetic Austrian corporal / art school reject who despite never having an original thought of his own is still perversely venerated as some ultimate antichrist / rock star.

@SamJonesCSSM I don't think they were going to use this song for the film since this song has been around since Hirasawa's second solo studio album, "The Ghost In Science" which came out in 1990. But I guess there is still the possibility they were going to use this song, though!

@Kitamora It may have influenced Kon, is what you're trying to say. Kon was one of Hirasawa's biggest fans, no doubt. So it's quite plausible that this song was the inspiration for the title of his movie and possibly would have asked Hirasawa to allow them to use this. I could actually picture this as a credits song. Sure, easier as a closing credits, but still also as opening.
