Hamster is when ur xfader is inverted. tt 1 on entry 2 and vice versa. back then djs used that configuration because they were used to scratch on upfaders which were more hamster-ish (in hamster.. ur thumb pushes the fader in while ur 4 fingers close it) ... open fader techniques seem more easy to do hamster style... and vice versa. Id like to share more .. and vice versa ahahha (luv it) but theres a limit to thse comments.. u can holler at me !

neopandorex - the effect you get hamster style is the exact same effect you get using your fader regularly..either way you use your fader its still going to just be an on and off switch ..
