BBC1 Analogue Switch-off from The Wrekin 20/04/2011 00:35.46 Digital Switch-Over

A sad day for Analogue. I'm on the Sutton Coldfield and I think we went off just a couple of months ago (Truth be told I don't watch a lot of TV any more, the family hog it). Feels a little creepy watching the Ceefax time just stop though. Like a bit of my kidhood died :/

No problem. I only wish I had turned the volume up a bit higher so you could hear what was being said.

I'll be doing the same on the night of the Sutton Coldfield Analogue Switch-off as I can receive signals frrom there too!

@TVisgood1398 Hi, In total I can also receive Sutton Coldfield, The Wrekin and Winter Hill Main transmitters and Wrexham-Rhos Relay transmitter. Am currently receiving weak analogue from Fenton at the moment since The Wrekin switched off analogue but I will not be able to receive digital from Fenton when they switch over as my signal is much too poor.

Thanks for this, I was living in Bromsgrove at the time, and the transmitter there was turned off at the same time.
