What is the best way to write a script? and how do you structure a script? When i sit down to write i get mixed up by the structure and give up. Should i write it like a novel then try to convert it to script form.Or should I go out and buy a book to tell me how to write a script? Keep up the great videos!

As a director very low buget films how do you balance getting the performance you want and need from an actor with a lack of rehersals and finishing your film and/or scene? I am assuming that with buget contraints that you do not have a lot of time for rehersals.

Would you say that the inspiration for writing/creating horror comes from a "dark" place, or would you say that it comes from the same place as the inspiration you get to work in other genres?

Q. When filming a movie and there is a scene that in your mind will work perfect but on film it is just coming out like shit, how can you adapt that scene or even drop it?

In your head it was going to be the greatest scene and it just isn't working and it might kill your movie.(Gore won't work/ dialog seems to not explain things right but changing it would give away to much of the story.)

Love your enthusiasm for the genre and your work. How do you attract the best calibre of people to work with in your films if you are on a budget? If people are starting out or shifting into the genre do you trade involvement for movie credits?

I heard CROSSED is really good even with multiple covers...they are even making it into a movie. You should read Garth Ennis's PREACHER and THE BOYS if ya havent already, because they are AMAZING!
