@claybe Azeris are iranians, but I'm afraid mayevec is right, Azeris are (though not as much as real turks) more mongoloid than aryan. I think you're mistaking with the Kurds, who are present day Medians.

Actually when comparing the DNA of azeris it was proven they had DNA of the Iranic dna stock, not turkish or mongoloid, and to be precise azeris much as persians,kurds etc in Iran are as much Iranians as anyone else in Iran. Actually Azeris and Lors are one of the fiercest and bravest defenders of the Iranian nation. I as a Persian am proud to call them Iranian brothers and sisters!
