@hotfuzz1995 There is an upgraded version coming out later this year with a better camera and apparently better controls so I would hold off a little bit if you can. If you just can't wait then they are available at a certain auction site or various UK suppliers, just Google parrot AR drone. Even if you don't want the new version I guess the earlier versions will drop in price a bit when the new one is out.

only some apps record. I use ARDRONE Flight by MeavyDev

it has record voice and tons of other things. I am not sure which program he is using.

@JayCrims0n i mean the i device screen. Not just while flying it. For example if you play a game or making a video and you dont want to sit with you camera a few inches away from the screen and you thumbs in the way:-/

@TheZoneOfCoD It does make is hard to see with the controlls on the screen. but it does not affect the video whe you are recording. there is a mod you can do to add a controller inside of the i pad or phone. The MeavyDev app I use does not record the controls on the screen like this one does. if you look at my drone video it is just the image from the drone no joysticks on the screen or anything.

The stock battery 1000 mAh last for average12 min depending of your flightstyle. If familiar with RC thats normal. The motors get overheated if flighttime get doubled en it shortens the life of the motors.

If jailbroken you can use Display recorder but there is an app Flightrecord that records also.
