I really wish they had lightweight poly/nylon ruger 10 22 recievers with a pickatenny rail running back the lenth of a reciever so I can mount a compact scope. I do backpacking and carry because the coyotes are a problem in my area as well as russian wild boar. But carrying the steel recievers is so heavy. There is a nich market for people who like there guns ultralight and ultra cheap.
