@kcf16 Hey. Some blocks are just hard. I try to only buy the soft ones - sometimes you have to go to another store for that or come back for that color in a week or so, when a new shipment arrives. But, if you buy hard clay, you can get clay softener to make it better.

@kcf16 you can knead in some baby oil or mineral oil to soften it, failing either of those a small amount of baby lotion helps but thats only if you have no oil at all...you can use colourless cooking oil too but make sure you add a tiny drop at a time and work it well adding small drops as you go until its soft x

@lushiee13 I dont know how she does, but if you try to be careful, and not squeeze to hard, there will not be that much fingerprints, or try to polish your charms a extra time! That works for me, hope it will help you! =)

@hellohowruification I do the same thing- I buy white clay, and then I paint it with acrylic paints! I tend to paint the clay after baking, since it's more stable and you can hold it better, but you can also paint it before baking. A tip for painting it before baking is to put it in the fridge for about 10 minutes so that it can get a little harder. Hope this helped! ~Comment.Rare.S

@LissCanDoMakeup Honestly, I don't do anything special. But, more fingerprints will show up it you knead the clay a whole bunch - which makes it softer.

@CassieHollister Yes, you can bake it in there, however, I've never used one - I believe you should be able to adjust the temperature, but some may only have "low med && high", not sure.
