To show you what a screwball Hubbard is, read his Purification Run Down, he was just an idiot, he thought if you drank a blend of plant oils, and went in to a sauna, it would replace your drug soaked fat with the healthy fat of the plant oils. I also heard a speech where the dumb ass confused the vitamin B; nicotinic acid with nicotine sulfate, the nicotine in cigarettes, He stated if you smoked, you were actually getting healthy doses of vitamin B. What a kook

Your arguments are as empty as your nuts: "His teeth, a scam, sci-fi, lol, bs, lies, satanic, brainwash, suicide, etc, etc." C´MON, MAKE MORE CREATIVE AND INTELLIGENT COMMENTS TO TURN ME INTO A MASKED AND FEARFUL ANNONYMOUS IGNORANT LIKE YOU GUYS.
@TheOscarluja For a rational world, why not start with rationality? Logic and deduction would seem to trump faith when it comes to rationality. The world of Science is far different from the world of Scientology. You want a better answer than those created by Hubbard? Okay, you are not covered with Body Thetans. You just aren't. And I'm not going to charge you hundreds of thousands of dollars to find that out.
@XENUTV.Actually, the DC-8s Hubbard talks about in the Xenu story were in fact zigzagging green levitating SNAKES, the size of the DC8s fuselage!They were like the chinesse dragon but without wings.In their belly they had a panel-like strip from which lasser-like beams came out to destroy other spaceships.No wonder the indians of Peru called them Viracocha, the mayans called them Kukulcan, the aztecs Quetzalcoatl, the eskimals Totem,etc.A ´gift´ implant was "Don´t eat from the tree of knowledge"
@XENUTV.Logic and deduction depends on WHOSE logics and deductions you accept.YOUR logic is obviously only materialistic, thus how could you experiment the non-material if to start with you DENY it?No one is going to prove it to you unles you discover it yourself.Daltonics can´t see colors, only different hues of black and white.The same happens with people who cannot differentiate (or reproduce) a C from a C#, etc. When it comes to the mind´s (not brain) ability, it´s a huge different story!
@Racsonify I have one for you.He wanted to make an impact on history,to be as known as Christ, who is the bigest man in history, we count time after him.And Christ started a religion, Ron has convinced many of his followers that they would even after his death spread his realigion in his name.He created a story of Xenu, that was historicaly a colculation: he knew sometimes in future alliens will come and there might be a leader so if you look at that story historicly it makes a lot of sence.
Even if his writing left something to be desired, he had the capacity to imagine and in turn had the capacity to be creative. Oh boy did he succeed in that department! He founded perhaps one of the most successful pyramid schemes in history and managed to appeal to the narcissism of people to turn a business cult with a questionable creation story into a formidable (and very wealthy) religious institution!
Really?! What I Do not understand is HOW can all those actors and just plain smart people believe what this man is saying, rather is not saying. lol- The lack of Hygiene is a big red flag..............he does NOT know his own cleanliness and he said knowingness is the key to Scientology.well he didn’t know about his own second wife .? I can go on and on but I would LOVE for someone intelligent to please explain to me.
I'm not sure what you mean, "He was cut off by the media" Vastv. I do know that from the off Hubbard pursued the media through the courts like a bat-out-of-hell - often ending in his daft & utter embarrassment. When Hubbard was dumb & vain enough to do this interview he didn't even understand that it was with the same TV company [England's Granada] he was suing at the same time. So much for 'knowingness'! England's eventual High Court judgement left Hubbard DEAD in the water.
DEADER-than-Dead Mr T. Those High Court judgements make great reading now. And of course Hubbard was then banned from England - a VERY rare step in those days, leaving Hubbard up there with Bin Laden and a [very] few particularly nasty Mafia gangsters. It meant that Hubbard could never ever again go "home" to his beloved St Hill. How could even Hubbard have been QUITE so blind and dumb?
@ramroid. I´m sorry if I ddn´t write down correctly the "thoughtful´s" address, I couldn´t find it again myself. But here are some excerpts of the + or - whys. "life´s a game and you´re an spiritual being having a mateial experience", "many people think that an OT can violate the rules and fly around like superman", "they expect an OT to cheat the system", "why would anyone want to violate the rules of a game?", "OT and responsibility go hand in hand", "it would be an evil action"...
@Ramroid. It might probably be of sme help to understand the whys OTs wont perform those kind of abilities in front of an ordinary person, including James Randy´s $ 1,000,000.oo reward-curiosity. Check: Thoughtful 2010-03-24 15:00 in REVOLT IN THE STARS.
@TellyBumsquat it works for some people and doesn't for others - having been to "the hill" in east grinstead i would agree thats its more about the money than helping people. i know a girl whos a scientologist and it worked for her. But the mone is unreal - courses start from £2,000. I understand how it works - and there is logic behind it but - not for me. heaven knows what its like in america.
@ramroid You´re right! Though in some philisophies the concepts of good & bad, beauty & ugly are just like in physics: RELATIVE. LRH´s views are simmilar. His "friendship" with Crowley & Parsons were mainly to describe scientifically what "magic" was all about, and he did; bringing to an end the ancient "mistery" of the esoteric. The problem is to UNDERSTAND his "elevated" criteria of what´s right or wrong for "wogs" like us. A spiritual dictatorship? OT-ly forced up on mankind? A wise madman?
I don't think it is possible to describe the spiritual realms (Theta realms) scientifically. To delve into this very subjective matter from the perspective of purely testable and objective scientific truth is to far simplify the hugeness of it. It's like trying to describe the super-set from inside the sub-set to use a math analogy. What drew me to scientology was that i initially thought that Hubbard had proven the spiritual with hard western science.
Scientology attempted to squeeze the spiritual hugeness into the relatively tiny box of western science and produce an underlying theory. That's why Scientology spends alot of time boiling things down into grand generalities. ex. thetans want to be an effect but must also be affected. To be an effect pretty much covers all behavior and leads people to believe Hubbard has found the common denominators to all thought and behavior. But there's something underlying Scientology.
Of course I don't mean to say Scientology is of no benefit. It's a totally legit belief system. It draws on a ton of truth. Good and Bad, beauty and ugly, up and down, these are all relative, until you put meaning behind them using belief and then faith. That, I believe, is what truly underlies it all(or most of it all). A person can't help but do this and we just hope that when we do we choose wisely.
@ramroid ..."it would destroy the game people are invested in", "a hillbilly would say: if you´re OT let´s see you burn down the Jefferson´s farm house just using your mind. I´d say: no, I´m not interested in oing that. the hillbilly says: see, there`s no such thing as OT". "you aren´t going to understand anything in Scientology by approaching from a purely OBJECTVE basis", etc. I´D LIKE TO ADD: Can you realize the legal, ethical & safety implications an OT would face by showing off so?...
...Ist, it would most likely be illegal, 2nd, also heart breaking for thoe of other faiths, 3rd, the OT would most likely end up crucified or burnt at the stake or hunted down by the cia! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE KNOWING HOW TO DO IT.
the day scientology murders billions of people let me know, maybe until then you should worry about all of the great faiths which have murdered people
Sometimes the word "selling" has a bad connotation, but actually, this is what we deal with in our everyday activities. We have to go to school to become a professional or to learn a craft to be able to give some kind of service in return for another kind of service (value or money). The esoteric (if there´s much left) is also something to learn about and the one who knows about it also looks for some kind of return for it, even if it´s only some kind of prestige or admiration from your part.
I think ultimately a person who becomes enlightened becomes more selfless in the process. Often people tell others that when they volunteer or do something to help others that they should do it anonymously so they can truly know that it isn't just for ego gratification.
You know, I believe (and I cannot say that this is always true but) with admiration and prestige often comes power and with money and wealth often comes greed and these, I feel are corrupting elements to the upward evolution of a soul. Even though they are very common and conventionally accepted drives in today's society. I think a lot of truly esoteric wisdom is to get us away from that.
Holy Moley, this guy was like wicked smart. With all those big words & everything. Wow. He had a BIG BOAT, too! How cool is that? Wow! Where do I sign up?
I understand your point. If you still have the Com course material you could probaly find a neighbor whom to practice it once in a while. Buttoning I liked very much, it helps one confront jerks`s remarks against your believes, opinions, and tastes in gral!
@ramroid. Thanks for your comment. For what I and a friend of mine know, who both took the Communicatin course, if you can´t afford the auditing services like we couldn´t, you can always take the basic dianetics course too, which isn´t expensive at all. This way, you and a friend of yours can both audit yourselves as you two go through the course. Of course, if you two don´t like trying that for whatever other reasons, well, forget about it. An auditor is a proffesional, not a volunteer monk,bye
@Racsonify ... yes, unless the whole thing is just a cynical scam ... and if you look at Hubbard here do you have to wonder or do you have to wonder? What a CREEP Hubbard was, just LOOK AT him, let alone listen to what he says.

@MrTolesi . IF YOUR NEAREST CRYSTALBALL READER OR BRAINALIST CAN´T GIVE YOU ANSWERS, FIND THEM YOURSELF AND SHARE THEM WITH THE WORLD. YOU´RE JUST A COMPLAINING WARMONGER WITH NO PROPOSALS OF YOUR OWN WHATSOEVER.
Yep, I did that. If you subscribe to scientology, you can get a lot of benefit. The communication is good I thought. What happened with me is that I wanted to go to the Org and simply exercise the communication TR's but I could barely get in the door without having to refuse all these attempts to sell me other courses. It became just too much pressure and awkward. I feel bad because I know they have to push that stuff.
Ideally, it would've been helpful to find a friend to practice communication TR's away from the church but they just required too much dominion over that sort of thing and independent Dianetics or Scientology practicians/groups didn't really exist back then as far as I knew. (i'm sure they did).
I don't prescribe to Scientology as an overall belief system really anymore so I don't seek those sorts of things out.

Man executes acts by his person. His person formulates ideas. Some of these ideas are the objects of all his actions. Even instincts support self motivated behaviour. Some jackasses think this means, greed is good, selfishness is human nature, but those are confused concepts.
I'll check it out when I have time. One dude can never prove such a thing. People within the context of any particular culture can be shown to be selfish. that doesn't make it human nature. It only shows a tendancy within a culture, usually necessitated by that culture.
Everything you just said, we all agree on. great people are very often persecuted in their own time and appreciated to a greater extent after they are dead and the conventional worldview catches up. You don't sound smart by spewing juvenile and obvious statements like that and you come off as revoltingly ignorant.
you are a jackass and i can now see why your comments are hidden. You're not a genius number one. All real geniuses are humble and realize that the more they learn the less they know. that makes them humble. You are an complete imbecile if you think you know L Ron Hubbad because you are both geniuses. Pure tripe.
@trakomako you're completely confused. Humans are not selfish by nature and none of those virtuous people you mentioned above charged anyone thousands upon thousands of dollars for their truths. Their truths were free. Hubbard is nothing like those people.

@ramroid HI GUY. WHAT WOULD YOU DO WHEN A LAWYER CAN´T GET YOU OUT OF JAIL FOR FREE? IT´S EITHER YOU PAY HIM OR STUDY LAW YOURSELF. IN THIS PLANET NOTHING´S FOR FREE, NOT EVEN THE WATER YOU DRINK.
That may be true, but that doesn't make it right. Esoteric wisdom isn't for sale. The air that we breath isn't for sale. We used to say the same thing about water. Do you think we're going down the right path in this way?
I just had a conversationsation with young man i knew who's father ran the dianetics org that I used to go to. neither he nor his sister (who both grew up in scientology) practice it anymore and it was literally for the same reason I stopped. We couldn't afford it. Very few can without going into a debt that 80% will never pay off. An e-meter can sell for 15,000 dollars and it cost less then 50 bucks to make.
Ramroid, this slightly suggests to me that you feel there was once a 'golden' age for $ci ... and that under Miscavige it's gone hideously wrong. But surely what this wonderful video of Hubbard - I'd say the AWFUL Hubbard - shows so clearly is that the whole thing was ALWAYS a total fraud & scam, right from the awful Hubbard's day one. How could anyone ever have fallen for a guy like this?
Yeah, I more or less agree with you. Obviously the earlier days were mildly less nefarious if nothing else due to infancy of scope. The sales elements that were blended in later only added money to the power. More money that is.
If scientology really wanted to clear the planet they'd charge 10 bucks, 15, 20 bucks for a service, not upwards from the 100's the the 10's of thousands. I still received glossy pamphlets (junk mail) from scientology that i don't even open. Can you imagine how much that costs them when they could simply be lowering the price of auditing, services ect.? OT courses cost over 20,000 dollars. I was able learn to exteriorize after reading a book by robert monroe that cost me 10 bucks.
Prosecutor General's Office declares Ron Hubbard's books extremist
Moscow, June 30, Interfax,
"Experts have made the conclusion that L Ron Hubbard's books ... aim to form an isolated social group, whose members are trained to perform their functions impeccably and most of whom are in a struggle with the rest of the world."
"These books convey calls to engage in extremism and carry humiliating descriptions and judgments and negative views on individuals based on their social status," it said.
He still owes my family money, for helping him off the ship in Crete, he was one liar, he promised to pay us back, I do not care what religion he is, the guy is a liar, he begged my grandad to help him off the ship, they were all half starved
He was the greatest con man. For your information movie director PT ANDERSON are right now shooting at Universasl Studios Hollywood, on a huge movie about the life of con man L Ron Hubbard.
L. Ron Hubbard looks like Captain Stubing, but like if Captain Stubing invented a religious scam and sold toasters with handles and called it a meter.
Actually no. I would want to profit from their blood money. I would rather starve to death under a bridge with peasants. However, the institution will fall, for crimes obvious. I don't know who will profit from it. But the world will be safer when they are gone, mainly kids. Does that bother you?
He was a Modern day Jesus or Joseph Smith or Mohammed or Buddha its all the same thing, just humans that know how to convince people, even though all these prophets sound silly, you still have to respect there influence on People, EVEN THAT GUY THAT MADE Jones Town
When he died after having a stroke, he was "treated" with medications that were not meant for stroke patients. Injections through the backside which are normally only used on unwilling persons. This expediated his death. Suffering from the obvious effects of a stroke, even more incoherent than usual, he was made to sign over all his assets to the idiot who's now in charge of the criminal organisation. Slick, huh?
Reporter: "so your capital, that did come from the scientologists."
Hubbard: "Nooo. No...the scientologist...and so on...actually...it's...what I tell you is quite truuuoooo..."
Reporter: "Yes, but (laughs) the only problem I have with that sum is you haven't told me where the money does comes from, where the obviously very large sums of money that you have"
Hubbard "...so it is actually study of knowingness..."
Reporter "To me that doesn't mean very much."HAHAHA!
I absolutely love that the reporters are not falling for his BS.
LRon looks enturbulated. Is it because the reporter doesn't blindly believe everything he says? I guess he's not used to not being asked real questions because he has no real answers.
Oh and, Hubbard was a millionaire? I wonder why he had to borrow thousands of dollars from Jack Parsons then?Hmmm...
L Ron Hubbard was given Vistaril® by Dr. Gene Denk in his final days, by intramuscular injection in the right buttocks. Vistaril® is a psychiatric drug, used to calm frantic or overly anxious patients. He died on January 24th, 1986, eight days after the fatal stroke, and one day after signing his last will and testament. He died in a 1982 Blue Bird motor home, about five miles East of Creston, CA, at the very remote "Emanuel Camp". His fingernails and toenails were long and unkempt.
That's right crowley611. The Great Creator of $ci died in his motorhome drugged up, trembling in terror and alone, deserted by his own family, and with the FBI finally closing in on him. AND Hubbard signed his final Will AFTER his massive stroke. What's that, he signed it AFTER the stroke that killed him? Yes, AFTER his stroke. How come? Good question. So who in fact got all his money? Good question. Where is that money now? Good question. So who's now got it? Good question ....
Hubbard had the stroke that killed him. Then, 7 days AFTER that killer stroke Huubard THEN "signed his Will" ... and THE DAY AFTER THAT ... he died? Yes? He had the stroke that killed him - THEN, a week later, signed his Will ... and died the next day? Oh yea? Could there just possibly be something ODD about this? Something to be thoroughly investigated? Mmmmmmmm ........... I wonder
@MrTolesi . Of course it´s an "enigma" for anyone of materialistic upbringing.LRH signed his will after he OT- exteriorized from his dead body! The Interpol,Fbi,Cia,Kgb, etc have no means at all to solve that "enigma" at all.

What a kook

You're welcome.
XENUTV 4 months ago 12
Racsonify 4 months ago
@XENUTV.Logic and deduction depends on WHOSE logics and deductions you accept.YOUR logic is obviously only materialistic, thus how could you experiment the non-material if to start with you DENY it?No one is going to prove it to you unles you discover it yourself.Daltonics can´t see colors, only different hues of black and white.The same happens with people who cannot differentiate (or reproduce) a C from a C#, etc. When it comes to the mind´s (not brain) ability, it´s a huge different story!

@Racsonify I have one for you.He wanted to make an impact on history,to be as known as Christ, who is the bigest man in history, we count time after him.And Christ started a religion, Ron has convinced many of his followers that they would even after his death spread his realigion in his name.He created a story of Xenu, that was historicaly a colculation: he knew sometimes in future alliens will come and there might be a leader so if you look at that story historicly it makes a lot of sence.
smallpotatoes989 3 months ago
Even if his writing left something to be desired, he had the capacity to imagine and in turn had the capacity to be creative. Oh boy did he succeed in that department! He founded perhaps one of the most successful pyramid schemes in history and managed to appeal to the narcissism of people to turn a business cult with a questionable creation story into a formidable (and very wealthy) religious institution!
A visionary for sure.

@Vastvisionist:
MrTolesi 6 months ago 6
@MrTolesi
How could even Hubbard have been QUITE so blind and dumb?

jackiehurst 7 months ago
@ramroid You´re right! Though in some philisophies the concepts of good & bad, beauty & ugly are just like in physics: RELATIVE. LRH´s views are simmilar. His "friendship" with Crowley & Parsons were mainly to describe scientifically what "magic" was all about, and he did; bringing to an end the ancient "mistery" of the esoteric. The problem is to UNDERSTAND his "elevated" criteria of what´s right or wrong for "wogs" like us. A spiritual dictatorship? OT-ly forced up on mankind? A wise madman?
Racsonify 7 months ago
@Racsonify
What drew me to scientology was that i initially thought that Hubbard had proven the spiritual with hard western science.
ramroid 7 months ago
@Racsonify
Belief.
ramroid 7 months ago
@Racsonify
A person can't help but do this and we just hope that when we do we choose wisely.
ramroid 7 months ago
@ramroid ..."it would destroy the game people are invested in", "a hillbilly would say: if you´re OT let´s see you burn down the Jefferson´s farm house just using your mind. I´d say: no, I´m not interested in oing that. the hillbilly says: see, there`s no such thing as OT". "you aren´t going to understand anything in Scientology by approaching from a purely OBJECTVE basis", etc. I´D LIKE TO ADD: Can you realize the legal, ethical & safety implications an OT would face by showing off so?...
Racsonify 6 months ago
...Ist, it would most likely be illegal, 2nd, also heart breaking for thoe of other faiths, 3rd, the OT would most likely end up crucified or burnt at the stake or hunted down by the cia! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE KNOWING HOW TO DO IT.

Racsonify 7 months ago
@Racsonify
I think ultimately a person who becomes enlightened becomes more selfless in the process. Often people tell others that when they volunteer or do something to help others that they should do it anonymously so they can truly know that it isn't just for ego gratification.
ramroid 7 months ago
@Racsonify

I feel bad because I know they have to push that stuff.
ramroid 7 months ago
@Racsonify

MrTolesi 7 months ago 42
@MrTolesi

"Knowingness" as opposed to knowledge?
When he died after having a stroke, he was "treated" with medications that were not meant for stroke patients. Injections through the backside which are normally only used on unwilling persons. This expediated his death. Suffering from the obvious effects of a stroke, even more incoherent than usual, he was made to sign over all his assets to the idiot who's now in charge of the criminal organisation. Slick, huh?

L Ron Hubbard was given Vistaril® by Dr. Gene Denk in his final days, by intramuscular injection in the right buttocks. Vistaril® is a psychiatric drug, used to calm frantic or overly anxious patients. He died on January 24th, 1986, eight days after the fatal stroke, and one day after signing his last will and testament. He died in a 1982 Blue Bird motor home, about five miles East of Creston, CA, at the very remote "Emanuel Camp". His fingernails and toenails were long and unkempt.
