Is it the same in this? With the kill moves? It had the best combat system out of any slash em up game I've played, played the demo of Space Marine the other day and I was so dissapointed it pailed in comparison

Mass Effect 2 was an unfinished game, it was really lacking because EA had to have it released by X date, even when Bioware insisted it needed another month of development. They shut down Pandemic, which had just made a potentially successful game but EA didn't get the money they wanted from LOTR:Conquest so they shut them down. Very counter-productive.

Does anybody else despise this game? I liked the two towers game. That felt like you were actually killing things. In this game it's all flamboyant combos with flame trails. If you want a decent LOTR online gameplay try out a mod for another game with good gameplay prospects.

I bought it mostly for multiplayer (singleplayer is quite boring and you can finish it in one evening), encouraged my friend (also a lotr fan) to do the same and we had a lot of fun together in coop... until EA closed the Conquest server... Now i can throw my copy away.

Star Wars Battlefront is also made by Pandemic... thats not so bad actually... but i think this game is not as good as a LOTR game should be and not as good as the Battlefront either... I think the game was a dissapointment:

The voiceacting wasn't good,

The gameplay wasn't realistic,

The game was over-priced, (50€ when I bought it)

It was too short (although it doesn't matter when everything else sucks)

(The music was good thanks to Howard Shore, NOT the game makers)

And first I thought it was like Eldes scrolls IV Oblivion , just to explore the world. But no, you are stuck in about 20 areas, done badly.

Again a game by EA to robb people.Sad but true....
