I have the Blackberry Torch and Im not that impressed. To my mind it has 3 annoying restrictions. Battery : If you switch off everything. Geolocation, Wi-Fi , bluetooth, only run one mail stream it MIGHT last 5 hours - but don't bank on it.
2) There is no Skype! Bloody annoying as I like to use Skype, thank god I kept my old N97! There is no front cam for video calls so forget that. Very nice screen though very sensitive . Often hangs up and u have to pull the battery.PE

Between this and the EVO... everyone is trying to mimic the iPhone, which is fine. But most of the attempts are slow/choppy. They lack the smooth transitions. I wish they would work more on these details to make it more visually appealing.

Blackberries have slower processors and yet are still competitive to iphone and android because RIM knows how to handle their data and uses memory more efficiently than their competitors. Can’t wait to see what comes next because when RIM starts upping their processors they could get back on top
Once i bought my blackberry pearl 2 years ago i fell in love with how fast everything is, I thought i wanted an iphone but its just so big and i dont like the virtual keyboard. @a7medooz1 no the screen is very responsive and easy to manage, but just remember to lock it if you put it in your pocket, jacket, or purse. But if you wanna see how the screen works go to your local at&t store and try it out.

@qqazzx Oh, iy isn't bulky at all. It is virtually the same size as my BB Tour, fits in the same case and pocket that I kept it in. The slide is thin and firm. The more I use it the more I love it.

You can download an app for BB App World and download right to the phone, or go to the App World website and have a link for the app e-mailed to you. On the AT&T network there is also an AT&T App site preloaded onto the phone. I only know about the US, but 800 US seems about right if not bought with a plan discount by your phone service.

@a7medooz1 no the screen is very responsive and easy to manage, but just remember to lock it if you put it in your pocket, jacket, or purse. But if you wanna see how the screen works go to your local at&t store and try it out.

look to me like il keep my bold 9000 till they finally bring out a better blackberry. iv already had the bold 9000 for over 2 years and cant see any reason to get a newer blackberry it is like rim want to lose to apple

its a good phone, never had a blackberry before, great for work, emails phone calls, simple to use easy features, not the blown phone like the I phone, but for a work phone has every thing I want and more, just simple and easy to use with lots of features

unfortunately, i'm willing to sacrifice my coveted physical qwerty keyboard of this for a Samsung Captivate. This phone looks too slow, too bulky, and has too many issues from scouring online. In addition, this phone would have been good about 2 years ago. The specs are bad. Put a better processor in, and maybe it might be a fair fight. Stick to your Bold's people.

@qqazzx Oh, iy isn't bulky at all. It is virtually the same size as my BB Tour, fits in the same case and pocket that I kept it in. The slide is thin and firm. The more I use it the more I love it.

i have a question does this phone some kind of program like android, something i can download from the phone like games or applications? i didnt heard something like that in other reviews and i am very angry about the price here in sweden is 5600 kr almost 800 uss and they sale only to companies not to private ppl

@Princesa82 Well for apps I can download from blackberry app world. You can download an app for BB App World and download right to the phone, or go to the App World website and have a link for the app e-mailed to you. On the AT&T network there is also an AT&T App site preloaded onto the phone. I only know about the US, but 800 US seems about right if not bought with a plan discount by your phone service.

OKAY EVERYBODY!! TAKE NOTE!! phones are a PERSONAL device, they are dependent on a person's PERSONAL preference!! Iphone: for a person who just wants a simple phone that just works without many frills.
Android: ultimate customization and performance if your a bit of a tech head. Blackberry: for ultimate productivity.
Nokia: for the triditional user that just wants core functions.
