@ortodox989 this song is about the desert of china and the desert is located at northen china, where interactions with mogolian and turkish is common. "typical chinese style" are mostly south china style and other part of china have different music style. I don't think sharing some characteristic in music with other culture is a bad thing, cause that means we were at peace and doing trade and comunicating , rather than at war in the history :)
