I was at the 25th Seabee Ball in early '66 - Davisport, Rhode Island. Also, at the recommissioning ceremony of NMCB 40.
Served two (2) tours with NMCB 40 at Chu Lai and throughout the northern I Corps, RVN, including the devasting Tet holiday on the MAG 12 airfield.
Served last tour with NMCB 74 in RVN.
We never forget our friends 'though separated by time.
It was a very tough act then, as I know it is now for those serving today.
