i did all this and backrounder works but some of the apps such as catagories crash upon opening them. then after a reboot cydia stops working so i uninstallin using rock. is it juusy the firmwire 3.1.2 or is it something else?

u can get cydia while jailbreaking process

use (blackra1n) to jailbreak

it`s the best

blackra1n is best for pc.

snow is best for macs.

When you install blackra1n you get 3 options to install. you can install cydia/rock/icey

cydia is where you download all your apps but it doesn't have eye candy, and it has no pictures by the app.

rock is faster then cydia and has more view of the app.

and icey is jailbreak to use with different carriers like tmobile etc :) good luck everyone
