  • Georgette has improved some.....but not her mother's voice Tammy is not heard. She now has a style much more modern country than her parents. Good for you Georgette.

  • George Jones was I mean was the greatest but his voice has been left about 8 years ago and is now a shadow of his REAL voice that was the greatest who ever took the stage. However those days are over and he has to breathe loudly in between notes...too bad he was so good! I have all his younger music hat a blessing. I do not like his face lift either... too much too late. He looks like someone else now. Each has had their time of glory! Loved you George as you were!!!

  • NourNZ you suck!!!!! you've gotta be the biggest waste of time in the world!!!!!!

  • whoever you are, the person who put George and his singing down. GET A LIFE

  • George Jones is still number one to me and many others too! My dear son Norman and I try to make ever concert when he comes to Arena Houston, Tx! He is from the ole school and o how we miss those ole schoolers! Long live George Jones and his memory...............

  • The best singer that ever lived..............

  • who ever wrote that comment on george, your about sick as they come.

  • them are some mighty big shoes to fill he might be 78 + but can out sing and out class any thing you see today in country

  • Must be money,& the love of performing. no one tells them, they need to quit while their ahead; go out with some class. This is just really sad folks. He's a legend

  • The best in the world... George Jones... Twyla in Ca...

  • Boss !.

  • to the people saying his voice is fading, youre crazy. Im not a george jones man, but am familiar with a few of his songs.. He does very well with this song

  • He does pretty good to be 78 years old..yes, his voice is fading, but he is still the greatest country singer that's ever lived IMO..even better than Hank Williams, IMO. I just can't believe he is still alive after all he's been through with the drugs, cigarettes, and drinking. He is THE greatest. Bless ya, George.

  • George Jones is worth seeing is he just stood on the stage and answered questions ... I'd go see him... I love him after all these years. Love love him...

  • man that man is hanging in there good to no =)

  • lol!!!!! hes really bad!!!!!! spent hundreds over the years on jones!!!! never again!!!!! nancy should be ashamed for forcing this on him!!!! he should do like CASH and retire to just recordining!!! terrible!!! he needs to watch these!!!

  • great video. and one heck of a great show. i was in the third row at rimon that night. he is the greatest ever. cant wait to see and hear him again in june 2010. thanks for still putting on shows for us.

  • Most people I know don't care for country music, But I do. I love country music. George Jones is one of my favorite singer. He's REAL country music to me.

  • No one will ever be greater than George Jones, he´s mu ultimate Idol and has been since I was 16 .. he is Country music and because of him Country music still goes strong. George Jones will not be around forever but his music will go on forever ! Love you Jones !

  • Who the hell is that dude at 5:14 singing? He looks like a murderer or something, creepy how he just sits there staring at George Jones.

  • @pittresident That would be Jamey Johnson.

  • Umm... that's Jamey Johnson, he is a long time song writer who has written some hits for artists such as George Strait and recently started performing.

  • No Show Jones!

  • Imagine what it must be like to be as talented as George and see your skills erode due to age. But no matter how he sounds now...he is George Jones and universally regarded as the best singer (not just country singer) who ever lived.

  • ya george is not singing like he used. but he is a living miracle as well as a legend . he could easily come on and mime each nite but he still sings LIVE . and has put the best country vocals ever heard on record. go listen 2 him just a few yrs back n he could outsing anyone in the world. love him more than anything in the world. and he has given millions of people untold pleasure. hes one of my reasons 4 being alive

  • u might have noticed George singing better and better and better as he got older but after his carwreck when he was 68 in which he punctured a lung and tore a vocal chord and various other things he hasn't been the same vocally. But I think he is gonna go to Heaven cause he has changed. Sometimes The Lord has to work on people differently to get them ready to go home

  • hopefully not for a good while yet donnieboyh. but we will ALWAYS have his wonderful songs. and the life he`s had he`s done well to live this long truthfully. just seen some recent pics of george and nancy and he is looking very good. god bless him forever

  • cant believe the rejects out there with ill comments about George ,,,,A TRUE LEGEND,,,,he is almost 80 years old ya damn goofs,,,,,,lets see you at 80,,,,ya will be in a casket already,,most likely,,,,,assholes are born everyday

  • I've wondered if it could be throat cancer

  • Atta Boy George, keep pumping out the tunes We Love You. For those that have to knock the King of Country You just wait until you get old. I bet you will be too damn dizzy to even stand up let alone sing. Barb

  • True Legend..to all of you knocking "Possum", KMA...you say bullsh!+ like you're perfect..the man has hit after hit and has performed show after show...but to comment on him as if you've never had any problems..you're pathetic.. I'm pretty sure most of you making the negative comments are cowards and couldn't handle a lifestyle such as his. I'm not making excuses for him but we've all had our ups and downs... He's come a long way...Keep singing George!!!!!

  • He had a hell of a run and will someday join the ranks of the musically immortal. What musician wouldn't want to live forever through their music, heard and loved by millions? Atta boy George!

  • It saddens me to read the comment about George being a staggering stuttering shell of himself... that is digusting and you should be ashamed. George Jones is loved by millions and has earned his title given by many "the worlds GREATEST living Country singer". His voice has faded and yes that is sad, but the fact that he is still willing to go out there and appear for his fans is a testament to his longevity and his spirit. Long live the GREAT George Jones, his legacy will last forever.

  • KING GEORGE JONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love him 2 death & 4 the ppl that dont know he will always stand out to be the best of all time age dont matter he loves his fans & his true fans love him just as much thanks for the post!

  • If you've got nothing better to do than rip on George Jones for getting old then you're the only one staggering and stuttering. He still has alot of true fans that don't much care what your opinion of him is.

  • I am not knocking Jamey Johnson, as he is one of the premier writers in the biz these days, but saying he will be a country legend, as far as a singer is a bit much. He,s a good vocalist and a great writer....Don,t misunderstand me...A Legend is a bit much..but talented he is..

  • is there something wrong with George jones voice it seams he is in pain when he sings here hes the greatest singer of country music ever

  • Yea, he is getting old. His voice is not what it use to be.

  • Great video. I saw George Jones a week after this recording on June 21 in Corpus Christi, TX. George is an truly amazing artist who puts on an awesome show. He is without a doubt the absolute best singer in the history of country music.

  • Wow! All I can say is Wow!!!!

  • wow, the greatest country singer to ever live along with the future of real country music. George Jones is the king of country music, and thank you Jamey for remembering the legends!!!

  • Best video of George I've seen in a long time. Thanks!

  • HES STILL THE KING !!!!!

  • It was a great show! I was there and sat on the floor just a few rows back from the stage. After the show Jamey signed my Hatch Show print.
