George Jones was I mean was the greatest but his voice has been left about 8 years ago and is now a shadow of his REAL voice that was the greatest who ever took the stage. However those days are over and he has to breathe loudly in between notes...too bad he was so good! I have all his younger music hat a blessing. I do not like his face lift either... too much too late. He looks like someone else now. Each has had their time of glory! Loved you George as you were!!!

He does pretty good to be 78 years old..yes, his voice is fading, but he is still the greatest country singer that's ever lived IMO..even better than Hank Williams, IMO. I just can't believe he is still alive after all he's been through with the drugs, cigarettes, and drinking. He is THE greatest. Bless ya, George.

u might have noticed George singing better and better and better as he got older but after his carwreck when he was 68 in which he punctured a lung and tore a vocal chord and various other things he hasn't been the same vocally. But I think he is gonna go to Heaven cause he has changed. Sometimes The Lord has to work on people differently to get them ready to go home
