Baazigar was not a highbudget movie either even the directors were only 1 film old. It was a hit. Chak de India maybe from Yashraj banner but it was a low budget movie with a new director Shimit Amin. Main hoon na was his own production with again a New director. Aamir khan did try to work with Yash Raj before Shahrukh did but it didn't work (watch PARAMPARA)
Comparing one against another is just something we got so used to it. Acting is something we go by role that doesn't mean the actor doesn't have talent. His talent is acting by the role he has been assigned for.

Baazigar was not a highbudget movie either even the directors were only 1 film old. It was a hit. Chak de India maybe from Yashraj banner but it was a low budget movie with a new director Shimit Amin. Main hoon na was his own production with again a New director. Aamir khan did try to work with Yash Raj before Shahrukh did but it didn't work (watch PARAMPARA)

Comparing one against another is just something we got so used to it. Acting is something we go by role that doesn't mean the actor doesn't have talent. His talent is acting by the role he has been assigned for.

There is no doubt that Aamir Khan is the most hard working actor in the bollywood, he gives the lesson that even though you are not the most handsome, but still you can be number one. Shah Rukh, no doubt is also great, but he has natural talent whereas Aamir has developed himself. In my opinion both are great but Aamir's work is more logical, refined and perfect. Leaving no doubt that SRK knows best the art of making links in the industry which is a very good thing.

He also has got success in playing a villian (when no one dared to play a different role and even aamir rejected it) He has got success in action movies (karan arjun baazigar) romantic movies and comedies. Even masala movies. Shahrukh has proved himself in every front. He can do a Swades and Om shanti om.
Aamir on the other hand can't carry a bad movie like om shanti om and make it a hit.
