  • hmm

  • I'm sorry. But this is the most perfect example of asian english.

    Spwing Wows! :D

    Hilarious

  • fobbylicious I agree with you! What's with the criticism people? Got up from the wrong sides of your beds? Say Thank you and move on if you don't like it!

  • wat do u mean by cooking white whine. you mean the white vinegar liquid?

  • @fobbylicious Just because he teaches how to make a Vietnamese dish, he must be Vietnamese, right? Well, I know how to make some American dishes, I must be American.=0. Oh btw, read the Bio in the info before commenting or you'll just look stupid for posting.

  • By the way guys, this is not a speech video. This is a learn how to make dipping video. I just don't understand why should anyone criticize how he pronounce or how fast he talks. How about criticize how he teaches. With that being stated, him teaching us how to make the dipping is actually pretty good.

  • fruit is better

  • GOOD AND NICE AND FAST I LIKE IT

  • Thank you Mr. Yau

  • agreed.

    lol

  • aha, my mom does this all the time :) good job!

  • I've tried it before @ Vietnamese restaurants & it's wayyyy better than sweet & sour sauce.

  • so its not a perfect vid ....but gets job done .....wery well..

  • I'm not sure about the authenticity of his recipes. Check out his video for vietnamese sandwiches. It's not right. Also he constantly forgets to tell us the amount for some ingredients. How much white wine vinegar? How much chili and garlic?

And the nice dipping sauces will have some of the daikon and carrot mix in it also!

  • HAHA expert WILLAGE. Peed my Pants

  • troooll lol

  • i like a hoisin peanut sauce better.

  • Agreed

  • @friedcrispy only one sauce on the table is boring ;)

  • ye ye ye ye Bro! dis is a really good sauce recipe, this sauce goes very well with spring rolls, I also enjoy pouring this sauce on noodles with pork or beef. Hook up a mango shake or a tsing tsao beer and you will have have an amazing meal!

  • actually Vietnamese people use both dipping sauces.. My parents like this over the hoisin sauce.

  • hoisin sauce is a chinese concoction but we vietnamese like it too. I personally like to have both.

  • lol on behalf of expert willage ,spring rose, da winigger just have to use a risk LMAO i think this dude is hilarious

  • ....thats problay a diffrent version...how is he reterted when he come from vietnam just to make us a video?

we should be grateful he even thought about doing this

  • he's chinese not vietnamese. in chinese, there is no V sounds.. hence the W or R sounds.

    nice try tho.

  • okay....he doesnt look chinese(not to be racist) I can tell. So if there are no V sound how come here making them...ummm your just prooving my point

  • @ladievicious That's pretty interesting. So you searched for this video, but only commenting because you're labeling yourself and identifying what race you are. What is the point? Does this have anything to do with the video? No. Aren't you a bit childish?

  • He's definitely Chinese not Vietnamese. He looks Chinese and his name is Hiu Yau. I can't thinks of any Vietnamese with the name Hiu, only Hieu. Also, read the video's info.

  • @mikeb103 Actually MANY viets have the name Hui/Hieu. Yau is usually a chinese last name you're right about that. However, we can't say that it's impossible for a viet person to have a chinese last name. There are actually a lot of chinese viets around. Maybe his dad is chinese and his mother is viet. Ever thought of that? lol..

  • theres another sauce you can use.mine has the sweet and spicy flavor, depending on how you like it.ingredients are sugar, hoisin sauce, fish sauce, peanut butter to make it creamy, and those red peper paste that has the seeds and skin in a jarr.yumm

  • yeah i do that sometimes too lol. peanut butter, its how we vietnamese americanized it haha

  • That looks great! I wasn't expecting the fruit juice either, but I'll definitely have to try it. :)

  • I make my Vietnamese burritos sauce the same

way only I add half of a can of coconut milk because that's how my mom saw them do it on the Food Network show $40 a day. It tastes soooooo good. It's one of my mom's favorite with the

    coconut milk added.
