How do you switch places for king and tower? or rook, it's called O-O in this game and also what i've learn its also called castling, so in this game, how do you do it? i have trouble with it.. thx! btw nice vid
Hey luke, I also play in FICS. Gosh it has to be the best chess sites available. By the way i have the Babachess software for it. Thanks for the video matt.!!
Hi Matt, I just watched your live blitz games 16-23 thanks for sharing. I play on ChessCube also its a very user friendly. I just recently started back laying on FICS and found a very nice interface which makes that more user friendly plus it has the built in Crafty engine to analyze my games afterwards. Very nice play commentary. ;)
Matt, if you see the button in the top right corner, beside the logout button, looks somewhat like a floppy disc or a TV. If you click it then it makes the game go into full screen so you just focus on the game, might be better for capturing videos!
At about ten minutes why didn't you push the b pawn first then the c pawn?

at 10:08 instead of 1...bxc3 1....b3 but I think that still would draw.

@1drwall ...b3 never wins unfortunately

I sort of wish I could play this guy. I wouldn't win, but he's so good at analysis, he might explain the weak points in my game.

good game, but like you said the opposite bishops...
also you had a lot of pawns on white squares, indicating that the knight was the piece to keep
i liked how you gave back the pawn to consolidate your position

so, to what extent is it convenient to exchange pieces when you have a minimal advantage?

If I had that fully figured out I'd probably be over 2200

yea, that's one of the hard questions. I'm trying to look up on some Capablanca games to see if I can learn something there.

Why are some terrible quality and some available in 720p O.o?

Maybe wait for processing

Perfect timing to give back the pawn - entertaining game and solid draw.

at the last move why you dont just push the b pawn?

He has c3-c4 and his bishop is watching b2. Otherwise yes that would have won.
