My name is Misty Michelle Burch if anyone of you knows that name email me!! I want to talk to you I miss my camper buddies and wonder whatever happened to everyone.
I went to Texas Lions Camp from 1973 to1982. This place has left me with great memories. I wonder about people that I met there and what happened to them.
I have a special memeroy of my swimming instuctor Jordis Helgesen. She and the rest of the staff from my time, were great. I am 43 now and remember this place like yesterday.
I attended 2 weeks at Texas Lions camp in 1963 or 64 . I did not want to go but my parents assured me it would be a great experience. Were they ever right. 45 years later the found memories of my experience are like it was yesterday. It was so much fun camping, swimming, hiking and overnight camping. It was such a memorable life time experience for me. Glad to see the camp is still going strong. Thank you TLC for allowing me to be a part so many years ago.
i love TLC i went there for like 5 or 6 year i been think bout gon back and becomin a counselor too i will hopefully soon i miss it so much it was such an amazing time in my life!!!!!!!!!!!
I went there for five years. I LOVED it! I wish I could keep going, and I've been contemplating becoming a counselor there, but... man... I miss it. It was so fun! Here's to the counselors I love and wish to hopefully see again someday: JOLEY and RUEY!!! <3333 Joley, you're the best, and Ruey, thanks for teaching me ASL!
This camp is out of this world...I just came back from there today dropping off my son for the 3rd year..He loves going and gives him a chance to be around kids just like him..As i was leaving i had tears in my eyes...I will miss him..but know he will have the time off his life..
I went there for 6 summers straight, 1993-1998. Thanks for the memories, Texas Lions Camp. I'll never forget the experience! Once I settle down, I plan to become a Lion so I can keep giving to the place that gave so much to me. Keep up the wonderful work!

I miss camp. Wish they had a grown up version of TLC. I wouldn't be the annoying homesick camper I was back in the day. LOL!
