Its one of two things; either you aren't jailbroken or you are not using the SFTP protocol to log in. It should be using port 22 to connect.

@tnzd64 if you have jailbroken your ATV then you can SFTP into via cyberduck (mac) or the windows equivalent. Check my other videos as I made a video on how to do this.

I have a question about Icefilms plugin (1.011) on the Apple TV 2. I was able to get the plugin installed, but when I try to play a movie its very inconsistent. Sometimes the movie works and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesnt work, it doesnt even try to buffer on XBMC. When I click on a movie it loads up on megaupload, but then it doesnt even load after that. The "Working" sign on the bottom right corner spins about twice and then nothing happens. Its not the sources. Thanks for all the help.

go to xbmc forum and type "[RELEASE] Icefilms.info Addon", go to page 121, scroll down half page to snake-666 and download the default.py script then paste it in your c:\users\xxx\appdata\roaming\X­BMC\addons\Plugin.Video.Icefil­ms folder. Overwrite what is there. You should be good

Guys. The 45 sec delay is because you dont have a mega upload account. set up a free account and it will go to 25 sec. Pay and u wont have any wait. Also 720p is in xvid format which apple chokes on at high frame rate. To show you, play a local file 720p decoded h264 (.mkv). It will be fine in HD (its not your internet as long as you have any speed). DVD quality on icefilms should work xvid because the apple processor can handle it. With atv2 its all about the decode/format.

@fabuloustoro if you have issues with 720p playback, it's likely due to lack of bandwidth. Some times I can play 720p; however, most of the time I cannot.

Can you be more specific?  What did you use to jailbreak your ATV? Also, how do you know that you successfully were able to jailbreak it? Does putty connect when you SSH into it? Let me know and I'll do my best to help you.

After jailbreaking the ATV2, I got XBMC running; then,I downloaded:

"repository.googlecode.anarchi­ntosh-projects.1.0.1.zip" (icefilms zip)

on to my computer (mac), but I do not know how to transfer this zip file to the ATV2 from the computer, or how to get the icefilms add-on from ATV2 directly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Once you have jailbroken your Apple TV you can use programs such as putty (windows) or Cyber Duck (Mac) to "log into your device" The adress is whatever your router gave the device and the default user name is root and password unless you changed it is alpine.
