Iran has been selling it's oil to other countries & not to the US, since after the Hostage Crisis 1979, something you don't know about. I know about the petrodollar as the international currency for the sale & purchase of oil, it was great when our country was doing fine & there wasn't too much dollar circulating in the market. But it has it's weakness, especially when Obama order to printing more money then necessary to supposedly help the economy, causing the value of the dollar to fall & making the oil expensive.

Religious people due to their 'faith' often do not question authority i.e government or the church. They follow like sheep, being told what is right and wrong, goo and evil.

My experience of the bible belt is that they do often question authority, so much so that some even organize these militia groups. They often peddle conspiracies. They don't question the church, hence why I argue when it comes about evolution. But they do question the government, even more if the government try to push thing they disagree.

However, if you look around there are variations of the definition. You can say someone has a business empire but it does not resemble the Roman Empire.
I found this definition 'Imperial or imperialistic sovereignty, domination, or control'. This sounds like the USA to me.

Sanction never work, mostly symbolic. There will be no BS by an Iranian patrol ship, but that's up to the Iranians on that regards. Most likely will happen is the US will simply one day bomb some suspected key sites in Iran then that will be all. Or maybe nothing will happen.

@culturebully3 i don't know ask the radio people. how else would icke get this idea from? almost every ancient civilization had its story of the "gods" being reptilian-like or had mythical stories that says that the people encountered weird reptilian creatures. Writing was developed for important reasons such keeping record happenings going on around them. I'm doubtful the people wrote this just for entertainment since they needed food and had to either plant or hunt ALL DAY!
