    I've been playing the Cónga Drums or Túmbadores for 30 years or more but my main instrument has always been the Bass.

    For your information - "bongo drums" (Bongóes) are two small drum attached together and traditionally held between the knees.

    The Cóngas and Bongó have traditional patterns which revolve around the foundational rhythm called Cláve. That knowledge gives much of that music it's character along with creativity and passion for the music and dance.

  • I posted this in the Howto category because I wanted to find out why there are 'dropped' frames or places where the video hesitates (but not the audio).

    So far there are 667 views but no one has offered any ideas. Maybe I should post it somewhere else?
