sounds great man! Boogie rules. I'm a proud owner of a Mark 3 coliseum 300 chassis head that they discontinued production in about '90 or '91 or so. I bought this head off a buddy for $1000 back in '90 and used it in my metal band. The amp is a monster with 6, 6L6 tubes , I've also switched out the middle 2 6L6 tubes and put in 2 EL34 tubes which makes it simul-class. either way 6, 6L6 tubes or 4 6L6 & 2 EL34...it rips BOOGIE FTW

Someone is selling mark 3 purple stripe and mesa studio.i can buy one of them.but i dont know which one is better.what do you recommend...?

Dude, the studio sucks. Go with the Mark ll purple stripe! I have the Mark lll purple stripe Coliseum head and it smokes! I replaced the tubes with JJ Electronic tubes and replaced the 6L6 power tubes with KT88's. Brutality in it's finest form. The Rectum Fryer has nothing on the Mark lll.

Great sounds of doom dude! One criticism if you don't mind, you play well but sometimes you attack your light guage strings too hard with the pick and the guitar is noticably out of tune. Other than that, I find myself growing horns in worship of your other wordly tone!
