as far as I know - and this is only my interpretation - liquid dnb is stuff thats more light/airy without an over-bearing bassline - stuff like high contrast/logistics - as opposed to more 'grimey' type dnb which is more stuff like dj hype/dj hazard/sub focus/clipz/xample etc. If thats any help!

Liquid is the softest type of DnB around, You can tell the difference straight away when hearing a liquid track, they are just unique, they are very "Funky" Aswell as liquid has normally more vocals then any other DnB genre :)
