Make your home as impersonal as a hotel room! Depersonalize your home, throw out your children's toys. There's hoarding, and then there's being a bitch, prioritizing design over family. Choose wisely.
Also, do you have kids? Do you really think a teenager will listen if you leave a note on the door instead of telling them? You live in a dream land woman!
@velkoria Actually, I'm 18, I'm speaking from a kid point of view, not a mother point of view. I don't have kids, lol. But if I did have kids:
1. Please don't judge how I raise my children.
2. Coming from, basically a teenager, &someone who doesn't live the commercialized stereo-typical lifestyle Americans are "supposed" to live in order not to get any backwards judgment, I wouldn't notice some dumb "clean your room" note on my door. Maybe cuz I share a room with my bro&sis, idk, I jus wouldn't.
Listen Cheesy Fake lady! U don't know what clutter is. What your dealing w/ is clutter that's created&cleaned up every week or month or so. U prob. don't know what real clutter is. Try doing this shit in an actual cluttered home. What is it w/ u rich cheesy morons who try to pedal cleaning your HOUSE- u only talk about the typical house life&never people living in apartments- when u don't even have any real clutter. What your doing, my dog culd do. Come on, give me some actual help, or shut up!
1 suggestion: To parents who have kids that have a play room where you can close the door, don't bother telling the kids to clean the play room. They're kids, and they will make a mess again.
Do tell them to keep their bedroom clean, and the other rooms and even the backyard, because guest and maybe neighbors can see that. No guest really needs to go into the play room unless they bring kids, but who cares if they're kids. LET EM' PLAY! :)
who keeps paper at home? everything is digital! paper takes up space, invites bugs and roaches (they eat it), gets lost, can't find it when you need it by pressing command spacebar or ctrl F, it can't be shared by hundreds of ppl on the internet, the list goes on.
@skimoriver01 Yeah! My hubby has been a Lean Manufacturing and Lean Office consultant and I've been toying with the idea of writing a book called 'The Lean Home' or 'Lean Living'. Living in the UK helps - where we have generally far smaller houses and many things are somewhat more expensive than in the States. I can't imagine having the kind of space American YouTubers showcase!
i dont recommend getting rid of family heirlooms there is no telling what that (if) ugly thing is worth as they say one mans trash is another mans treasure
@StaffChih omg im loosing my shit right now! very funny! hehehe
