  • I've never seen a tool like that, very interesting. What I do is just turn all my case necks without measuring them first. Might consider just turning all of your case necks to .0015 then they'll all be exactly the same and matching. A little more work up front but you'll never have to seperate your brass again. Just a thought, I do enjoy your videos. Very enlightening.

  • @thesuperfan99 good point. Something I have always thought would work best. Why didn't he do that?

  • even if you test each thickness and one of them shoots the best, I understand that can turn all the necks later down to 16 or 17 thousands of an inch but how would you turn them down to a certain couple thousands?

  • @thesuperfan99 he could turn all the necks but...the inconsistencies found in the neck thickness are are good indicator that those same inconsistencies are found throughout the whole case body. with that in mind, a thicker case body will have different pressures and turning down a thicker neck will not change that.

  • Great vid man!!!!

  • Look how much indicator movement there is just with the flexing of your pilot shaft as you find the flash hole. i wonder if your set up is stable enough to get good readings...

  • Great vid. Thanks.

  • My suggestion would be to consider saving a step / use a neck turning tool on all your brass first.

  • You make theeeee Best Videos on YOUTUBE. Thanks again.
