  • JOHN LENNON WAS KILLED BUY THE UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA

  • It´s an insulting behaviour of McCartney to sit on a much higher chair than Lennon. After Yesterday, McCartney always wanted to demonstrate that he was the composer, and the star in the Beatles.

  • Since the summer of 1966 Lennon wanted to leave the Beatles, but he didn´t dare. I´m sorry to say, but in this time, the spring of 1968, they really didn´t like each other. After Yesterday 1965, George Martin would tell the world that McCartney was the Beatles composer, and McCartney would give the impression of it. Therefor McCartney here, on this interview, wanted to insult Lennon by sitting on a higher chair. Very consciously done

  • @Johan93888 Your nuts.

  • i reckon john's a bit of a hypocrite. i think theres such a sincerity and purity to paul....besides, hes absolutely adorable...a face you'd never tire of :)

  • fuck you lennon you wimp prick stick your feminism up your legendary tyomorrow never knows ass

  • @flakbac Great comment from a real idiot.

  • @flakbac thats not true u r not very smart

  • @flakbac Fuck you motherfucker you fat ass hamburger eaten ass beer drinking mentally ill motherfucker!

  • "Oh yeah..We manufactured it!" F***in Brilliant..

  • Apple has to be the most retarded company ever created in the history of mankind. I mean let's look at this business model - They are going to give away money so people can do what they want. So in other words, they gave away money, then bitched and complained and sued each a year later because they were losing money. That was the whole purpose of this company; To give away money! Then they complained about it! What the fuck??

  • @JamesTKirkCobain It is crazy isn't it. BTW they sued each other because they were locked into a contract organised by their manager Brian Epstein that they would share in everything the others made until 1976.

  • i wish they could convert black and white to color.

  • @brandaddy0 I'm sure i've seen this interview in colour on YouTube somewhere :)

  • john y paul los mejores

  • n wear sett it goi nd hopemfor the best,,,no morebe said,

  • sounds like the modern internet / tech world today..

  • its so nice to see them together... i love this guys, they will have always a place in my heart

  • I think at this point in history there are more important things to consider than The Beatles.... unless Paul and Ringo get off their asses and support the University students of England , or 9-11 truth.....or The truth about The Rothschild Banking Mafia which is raping Europe and America right now.

  • two of the greatest musicians of the 20th century, if not history. This reporter had no idea.

  • By 1968 John Lennon was clearly on a different intellectial plane from the other Beatles. John always stood out....had the wit, brooding, moody, open and very talkative. Lennon wasn't pretending to be anything here...this is who he really was. He always stood out from the other Beatles. Paul is a musical genius...but John was much more than that.

  • John IMMEDIATELY comes to Paul's protection. I so love this ultimate devotion on his part.

  • I love John and Ringo and George and yes, I love Paul too, very much

  • they look happy (paul does anyway)

  • Perfect! LSD... Yeah!

  • The Journey was terrible, but the trip was alright.. HAHAHAH Classic john lennon

  • @hockeyguy1414 we lost 13 pounds and we looked a day older

  • @wojiaokatya hahah awesome

  • Haha, how fucking exasperated does Paul look with John there

  • i love john.

  • i love ringo

  • Lennon was hilarious. How did he say all that with a straight face...

  • Ridiculously quick wit. Lennon was king.

  • I don't care what people say both guys were musical geniuses. But when it comes to quick mind nobody in The Beatles could come close to John. It was not because he was in front of the camera the man was like that always. There are people like that everywhere and they can't help it. There are dozens of interviews where those who knew them can testify it. Even Paul, George and Ringo always admitted that when in a conversation John said more witty things in a minute than a normal person in a week..

  • ''From what I've read you seem to have endorsed it and condemn...'' (LSD)

John: ''we were manufacturing it at the time...''

LOL I know it's childish but couldn't help to laugh like an idiot when I first heard this interview

  • oh yeah "majic alex" the guy who was made of pure bullshit

  • These two men may as well have created rock music... and they're really beautiful to look at, too. (: I'd marry Paul any day.

  • @TheDiddlysquat

you are 180 degrees off.Remember could Lennon quit the limelight for years , and McCartney is the one who loved touring, being in front of crowds, being adored and being a Beatle. He has never been known for being particularly quick. However the man who wrote Hey Jude, Yesterday, and a dozen other songs is, without a doubt, a musical genius.

  • I love the way that when John says "We were manufacturing it" and Paul finishes the joke by saying that "he business went bunk" John keeps a serious face.

  • Lennon is much more cooler, smarter than PAUL! :)

  • what does John say at 1:28 ?

  • @thornygravy yeah, it's true, it's massive.

thats what i heard. i cant understand these guys for shit though, so i could be wrong.

  • @asfasfasfXD I think he says "smashed him".....or not.

  • john has a witty response for every question

  • We're manufacturing it!!! LOL.

  • those of you arguing over who's the biggest Beatles fan are missing the point entirely- peace, love, working to achieve your dreams were what the Beatles were about- the reason they made music was to make a point often, not to get people arguing over them

  • I hate when people say John's song are better then Paul's or Paul's songs are better then John's when to me they're completely different songwriters. John in his songs just tells it as it is like in nowhere man and imagine. His just saying look imagine this, imagine that. But Paul goes deep in his songs like let it be and blackbird. He shows more of his feminine side that's why I think women were more for Paul and men were more for John. I personally love them both but I love the beatles more.

  • @HollyAmyPack - i don't know. i feel like their sounds complimented each other. However, I feel the unsung hero in the Beatles lineup was George Harrison.

But Lennon, McCartney, Harrison.....no other lyricist and vocalist was better, and still today isn't better than the legendary Ronnie Van Zant.

  • "" The journey was terrible, but the trip was alright ! - Classic

  • love became free because thier minds were i love the beatles

  • Comment removed

  • the Alex guy they talk about turned out to be a hoaxer, but their intentions were well meant

  • The best line here is from John Lennon- "The journey was terrible but the trip was all right". LOL!

  • what's the drumers name?

  • @knackworsty007 how the fudge how can u not know the fucking drummist!!!

    Its ringo star!!!!

    duh!!!

dont even dare call urself a beatles fan!

  • @skoolgurl70

    djeez cool down omfg...

  • John Lennon in this time period favors my brother-in-law. Absolutely amazing!.

  • John was intelectual and Paul was smart.

  • These two guys had something together. Something magical. I can't put my finger on it, but it's there. Just the how they joked together and even though there were fights and disagreements you can tell they always were the best of friends.

  • @DonnaAndEric4ever it was the fact that they were both artists, apart from the music. When you think in art. like when two mathematicians get together, or two cryptologists get together, you're linking at a whole other level than the people surrounding you. And while you're looking at these two guys who could paint and draw, they also could play piano, guitar, and write music that will still be played 100 years from now.

  • Cualquier publicación sobre el Cuarteto Liverpool es interesante e importante para todos aquellos a quienes nos gustó y nos sigue gustando su música.

  • who was the greek geniun , ALex'?

  • @omegamanroderick ...magic alex,a greek guy who came to the uk and met the beats,..he made out he could invent a force field around lennons house, stuff like that, but he never invented nothin,..he was allowed to build the beatles a new studio, but he took months and months and ended up not knowin what he was doin, waistin £,.they tore it down in the end,..got rid of him..

  • So through this video i see reality but though John Lennon I u

    nderstand it.....

  • the greatist couple of musical men ever to live ! x

  • best songwriters

  • Paul is a such cute boy....when he was young ~

  • THE JOURNEY WAS TERRIBLE. BUT THE TRIP WAS ALRIGHT.

    ohh john ahaha

  • Addicted to Hash? Browns?

  • @billace90 not Hash Bronws, Hash is slang for Hashish, a psychoactive drug derived from the Cannabis plant ( the plant Marijuana comes from)

  • You never know with these incredible electronics. I'll come flying over New York plane one day

  • sad that he dies not long after this

i hate the man that did this!

:( he'll be with us always

  • @secretvideocam He lived for another 12 years, mate

But yeah, I agree, so sad :(

  • he died like twelve years later.. :/

  • JOHN LENNON IS THE BEST

  • who's your favorite beatle?

  • you are 100% correct aswell my friend- gd times on LCD =]

  • on acid

    100%

  • Let us never forget that "Magic" Alex was addicted to Hash! Nice fella, he was...

  • lol "addicted to hash"

  • You can really see the scar on Paul's lip in this video

  • where from+??

  • @ThePythonfan From his moped accident :)

  • Oh right ! thanks a lot!!

  • john is so witty, and paul just has this analytical depth to his opinions

  • high as fuck

  • They look non-high

  • yeah right

  • It appears as if you doubt me?

  • John seemed to be a lot happier in later life than he was here. There's a youtube clip of him talking about monty python and fawlty towers and you can tell how different he was - just before his murder :(

    watch?v=EAe4BXblMwA

  • Paul is a lovely guy, amazing person, John Lennon is amazing.

  • John is very uncomfortable with he glaring spotlight at this point it looks like.

  • Magic Alex! hahahah

  • He was a friend of John's. He believed Alex to be amazing when in actuality he was talentless. Alex claimed he was able to make a great audio system...

  • I know, haha. He was gonna build the studio at Apple Records in the basement, but instead floundered the project, leaving Geoff Emerick to clean up the mess. It's actually quite ironic

  • the tension in this video is amazing john just keeps taking shots at paul while hes trying to distance himslef from the whole hippie seen and paul just causually plays the media game and pisses john off even more i mean both phenomenal musicians (I appreticiate Paul) but this is really evidence of who wanted to say something (be an artist) and who wanted to stay the "kings of music" (be a bussinessman)

  • what shots was John Taking at Paul...I watched the video 2 or 3 times and it just seems to be John being John.....

  • Tomorrow there will be anniversary...of John*s death. Dear fans!

Let us pray and forget all bad.

We all love Beatles. Let love them as an entity-not love only Paul OR John OR George, OR Ringo but love Beatles-Paul AND John AND George AND Ringo!

People loved Beatles earlier as entity. But after their breakup when each of them chose his own way somebody liked more John, other ppl-Paul etc.....

  • Dont you tired disputing who was (is) greatest-Paul or John?????

I worship Paul and think He*s GOD. I dont like Lennon.

    But i never outrage him.

And you, John*s fans, underestimate Macca and often outrage him.

I*ve read a comment from another video-"It*s a pity that Paul is still alive. He (Chapman) had to kill him instead of John".

John*s fans!!! How can you write it? I hope it is the one man who is able to write such sickening words.

  • "the journey was horrible, but the trip was alright" LOL!

  • that is superb. thank you

  • Magic Alex was a blatant con man. How the hell did he fool the Beatles?

  • because as brilliant and creative as they were, they were also naive -- no longer had Brian Epstein to shield them from con men and hucksters

  • what did magic alex do?

  • @easyp576 it was a friend of cynthia and john who created things, very crazy things, which were ideas for the psychodelic idea of apple. you should read peter brown's biography of the beatles

  • are you talking about drugs? like acid? orr?

  • yes, but, he also made things like rare lamps, or rare carpets, for a living room... that kind of things... I'm telling you a few of the many things he had done... these objects were used for decorating the apple building at the beginning

  • @easyp576 nothing- he turned out to be a fake basically

  • @brandstifter68 The Beatles were young innocent and trusting nad no longer had managers and others watching over them and taking care of business for them like Brian Epstein was so good at doing

  • They were having a bit of fun with the reporter... but John was a little scary there, wasn't he?

  • he was a bit menacing -- tired of suffering fools

  • @jzerony these were two superstars. yes, john did look terrible. drugs & alcohol does that. he aged very quickly from 1966 to further on. i've met & shook hands w/ him on dec. 01, 1980 a week before he was killed. lennon was very skinny & looked very serious along w/ yoko. i just cried when i heard the tragic news.**** i liked how they looked in 1964. enjoy.****

  • the best!

  • That's super cool see how you americans of all ages adore The Beatles.

    Probably more than brittons theirselves.

  • "We were manufacturing it." XD LOL!

    I love these guys.

  • Comment removed

  • Love John's face at the LSD question!

  • It's funny how they are playing with the interviewer.

  • HAHa! "The journey was terrible, but the 'trip' was alright"...Love it!

  • That 'Greek Guy" Alex turned out to be quite a disappointment.

    =)

  • The great experiment that the Beatles tried almost made them go bankrupt.

  • I need help, can someone please tell me what Paul is saying at 1:53?

  • An original whole expanding vista.

  • magic alex. hahahahaha

  • amazing band sad that they broke up, but how many great bands broke up over egos, can't count

  • the Beatles were John's band, y'all remember that. ( Paul was just as talented, but it was John's band)

  • No. The media ended it trying to make slur campaigns to sell newspapers etc. I think the beatles needed a good lawyer at the time. Lennon and Mc cartney should of sued the media.

  • Funny hearing Paul hype Magic Alex, who later blew a fortune of Beatles money trying to build an Apple studio that never worked right. They eventually went back to Abbey Road to make their last album.

  • After Alex 'built' the Apple studio he was fired and rented equipment from EMI used in January 1969 at Savile Row for what became 'Let it Be', 'Abbey Road' was recorded at Abbey Road that summer. The Savile Row studio was used until the mid 70s and acquired a good reputation as a mixing facility.

  • larry: you endorsed lsd and--

john: we were manufacturing at the time. business went bonkers!

    paul:....

  • "The journey was terrible, but the trip was alright" - heh heh heh!

  • I like Paul's comment where he answered the question about LSD--"I thought whether my answer should be cagey or honest and I said yes..."It's still a shame that egoism played a huge part in the Beatles' eventual breakup 1970--Mikey

  • You can really see the scar on Paul's lip from his 1966 motorcycle accident.

  • "The Journey was terrible but the Trip was alright."

    HA!

  • john started the beatles, he ended it

  • yupp it all ended w his ego. not that its possible to be annoyed at that. cuz he was amazing ans now hes dead. but still it kinda bugs me

  • Paul is adorable.

  • It just stops there? :(

  • *gasp* 2:11 John is so funny!

  • Lennon= #1

  • John Lennon was definitely cool!!

  • Does John make a mistake when saying he was in India for 4 months? I read that they left on Feb. 15th and returned on April 12th.

  • Apple!

  • Aww so cute when Paul laughs :)

  • We were so lucky to have these 2 brilliant geniuses play and record as much as they did.Imagine if they never hooked up?Society would have been the poorer because of it.

  • All things aside, just 2 supremely gifted and anointed composers in the field of rock!!

  • On LSD:

"So I said yes... it was his responsiblity". Classic response... if its good its Paul... if its not so good, it was John's fault. They had a nice little arrangement together. Long live the legend of the Beatles.

  • they wont stand a chance lol

  • The journey was terrible but the trip was great. lmao Love his wit!!!

  • I think he probably meant the traveling was terrible, but being there was great. And yes, a great wit he had.

  • Johns Awsome, :)

  • I love the Beatles but I never realized that in this interview I think you could almost see the breakup of the Beatles. There is some extreme discontent between John and Paul and Paul is covering it up with the old Beatle persona ha ha funny funny.

  • you can see it in John`s eyes .... " these stupid fucking questions " ... " more LSD hangups " .... " enough already "

  • lennon kinda looks like keven spacey at :24 ahah.

  • i love john at 2:11 when they ask paul about LSD. and i love it when lennon says "we were manufacturing it" about LSD! bloody hilarious.

    i love pauls eyes

  • right ? ...haha ... john is hilarious ... i like it when he is asked ... " do you think the maharishi was on the level " .... " well , i dont know what level he`s on " ..... hahahaha

  • we were manufacturing.

    fucking hilarious

  • John likes to take the word

  • THAT'S THE REAL PAUL!!!

  • haha think you said something a bit too clever!

  • 2:21 Aw, I love Paul`s laughter.

  • Most handsome John looked.

  • May 1968....... thought they might have talked about the student uprising in france

  • How fuckin dare you talk about the beatles like that asshole. you are totally unaware of this comment while we are talking on Live right now.

  • suck my ass
