British Boxing fan here and a big Ricky Hatton fan as well. Just want to say I say the fight live but I still really enjoyed this video, great round by round coverage, good job p4p.

About the fight, Ricky did what he had to do..it wasn't beautiful but it looked promising. Ricky showed a little of mayweathers training however it was always going to be difficult against a guy that was running. Ricky hurt Pauli too early I think. However fair play to Pauli took the defeat well.

I think it's too late for anything to make a big enough difference to Hatton. Yes, agreed, he was a bit more cautious against Malignaggi, but Mayweather is a class above and would lose a rematch (my opinion). I also see Pacquiao beating Hatton. Hatton gets hit and Pacquiao likes to hit. Bad combination for Hatton. I don't really know about De La Hoya, maybe someone with more knowledge on the guy could predict a Hatton/De La Hoya fight.

Well here is what I noticed.

-much more patience in attack.

-much better head movement and ability to make an opponent miss his jab before countering.

-Setting up an opponent before throwing power shots.

-Great ability to cut the ring.

-Better timing with his punches and fighting using his brain instead of emotion.

-He still managed to used the bodypunches in the 11 round and had Pauli gone,before Buddy stepped in.

Floyd Snr has rejuvenated Ricky. Hatton was able to fight for the full 3mins of each round, something he hadn't being doing lately. Hatton hasn't abandoned going downstairs, he did land a few of his patented liver shots - was still looking for openings to unload his sickening bodyshots but when your opponent crouches down & lunges forward prior to Ricky engaging, makes landing a successful body attack difficult.

Comfortable win for Hatton, but Knowledge is right about the body punches, they were non-existent. While I was watching it I kept thinking he should switch it up especially as Paulie was constantly crouching low but it didn't happen. However, Hatton's jab was a lot more evident and although it wasn't always consistent Hatton did manage to use a Philly-esque right hand to block some of Paulies rights. Hatton said that he knows he still needs to do a bit more work but the signs were encouraging.

David Haye has a chance to get past the Klitschkos; Maccarinelli could take over the cruiserweight division, now that Haye has moved up. Hatton is dominating 140, Joe is ontouchable at 168/175 and Nate could control the 135 division if Marquez tries to chase down Pacquiao for another battle. Shit! i watched it live and i gotta say it wasn't worth staying up for, personally though i think hattons level up has been tramendous (hajime no ippo rules), his sliping and parrying neutralised whatever got through his offence i agree more body shots but i think with pauli ducking down so much maybe it wasn't possible.

It was geting kind of boring, but I believe that buddy did the right thing in stopping the fight. There was no way that Paulie was coming back therefore no need to injure his fighter by continuing afight he was not going to win.
