So DKC Returns was 1.lazily remixed instead of having an actual soundtrack 2 filled with shoe horned in on screen co-op, changing a major aspect from the original game in single player mode 3 made with no respect towards the original game, so no kremlings 4 admittedly good if it were renamed. However, I don't like Nintendo's attitude of pretending to care about the game's fans.

You should have heard my v2 of this song when it was being made. Unfortunately, I lost it in a hard drive crash, but I'm working on it from scratch. Hopefully, it'll be complete soon. :)

They don't have the right to tarnish a once glorious game developer's shine with the mediocre games they, (new Rare[Same name, all new staff]), produce.

@robertreturns There are several positive things though: This is Retro studios, who delivered the Metroid Prime series; the art style is looking very original and refreshing, something Retro seems to be very good at; and the music is being composed by none other than Kenji Yamamoto himself, the man behind the entire Metroid series music... well, excluding the original Metroid, Metroid II, and the abomination called Other M, which we shall not speak of from this point. So don't lose hope yet. =)

@robertreturns Other M's first person elements for one are annoying. At times you're locked into first person position and required to find an object with absolutely no clue as to what it is you're even looking for. Pointing the controler at the screen to fire missles is clumsy for the flow of the action. And, this is strictly me personally mind you, I felt the game would have over all controlled better if it didn't you the D-pad to move in a 3D environment.

@Noisemaze i never beat a metroid game, but what i did play of metroid prime gave me a unique "alone on a planet of deadly aliens" feeling that makes me wish i hadn't lost my copy. wish i had the prime trilogy.(if the others are as cool as the first one)

@robertreturns Well, those may not be bad things. Four hits? For all we know those four hit points may not even be enough. The fact that the we'll have so much health could easily be seen as a sign that the game will be mercilessly difficult. A lack of Kremlings opens up a gate for more diverse foes. Who knows, the evil Tikis could have great character and grow to be fan favorites. More enemies also helps flesh out the world. Water levels... eh, well maybe if there's a sequel.

I personally don't like those low strong sounds the sax (and, electric keyboard?) add to the song at those certain parts, feels out of place to me. Not saying it's bad though.

But, makes me want to play DKC... AGAIN. You did an excellent job arranging this great song.
