I've heard it is actually possible to install mods for console versions, BUT I've also heard that it is a very long and complicated procedure.

With that in mind, it's best to mod on PC. Much easier. :-)

On PS2 it's impossible to install mods. The only way is that someone creates a mod overwriting the original data and then making it as PS2 game file.
