Oh, wow. That's a HUGE store. Back here in the Netherlands there's no Halloween, and the Halloween stuff they have in stores can be placed on one or two shelve... you're lucky to have Halloween! :)

People start shopping for costumes in September, I know I sure did. Because every year when I finally decide what want everything is sold out. This year I'm being Lady GaGa so I didn't need a packaged costume, but still. Def get your stuff early for sure!

I LOVE halloween! It's the second greatest holiday in my opinion (Christmas being the first).

For those of you who don't know what halloween is, basically you dress up as creepy as you can (but in a lot of girls cases, slutty...) and yeah for kids, you go around to houses and say "Trick or Treat" and they give you candy. Or if your older, you can go to haunted houses or halloween parties.

I see Halloween Spirit stores everywhere. They've been around for a while, they're open only for the month of October in large abandoned buildings. That's probably why the sales people don't know what they're doing, it's not like they get much training lol.

yea when i was a kid we did it at school once and mum just made the costume for me one year we were too broke to make a new one so she made me wear an easter bunny costume lol I said i was an evil bunny hehehehe. the following year she put in more effort and i had a cardboard witches hat and black cape (similar to a paint smock) lol

Every costume store around here that I've been in has been really dark and it's hard to see anything that's not by the windows very clearly. Why can't they be as nicely lit as that store? =/

Because they are trying to sell you crap and it's easier to sell crap products in the dark. It's why a lot of restaurants are "dimly lit". Every take home food and when you go to heat it up it doesn't look anything like you remember when you ordered it? Yep... lighting does a crappy business justice.
