It is more about knowing how to handle them than the time you spend with them... One thing is certain though : pet them a lot!

i just got to little girl natal rats 2day and they are adorable i wish i could tame mine like that! they sure are high jumpers!!!!

my god, your are so tame, Im fostering 6 right now and they just jump like idiots and nibble your arms and fingers...saying that, mine were never handled before I got them!

The best thing with natal rats is that even the ones that are least tame will let you pet them, and will show you that they enjoy it, but only inside the cage.... When you take them out of the cage they get scared :D

How did you get yours sooo calm? I just got a baby natal rat 2 days ago and the poor thing is so scared and jumpy. I've been tryin to him the little one as much as possible.
