I saw one of these at Newport. Apparently they weren't even full grown, because I saw a life size picture of a n adult one and it was twice the size of a human being.
Though, I'm sure the 13' ones could give you a serious run for your money?!
I saw another video on here, somewhere, and this diver was swimming over top a HOLE BUNCH of these suckers. There were probably like 3,OOO through the whole video. It was quite the spectacle!

Typically Spider Crabs have a leg span of about 4 feet, but large individuals can have a leg span of up to 13 feet!

Yeah! Though unless you happen to be either dead or real small (like less than 4 feet tall) they can't actually kill you.
