I'm a big fan of Charice and there's no doubt she can sing really good. She can hit a very high note which is unexpected from a young girl like her. I would say though that she still needs to polish her notes and breathing so it wouldn't sound raw. There's also nothing wrong being a confident singer but not to the extent of coming off like an arrogant one just like what she displayed on the Korean TV show.
It's like saying a lot of Pilipinos can draw and can be an artist. But very few can be a very good artist. A lot of Pilipinos can play the piano but very few can be a good pianist.
Charice is a natural talent and has the elan of a good artist. I agree with you there's a lot of talented kids with potential. But Charice was already develop and has the guts to exposed her talent to big time shows. She got the confidence of a professional singer.
